UPDATE! In the end, inetvideo decided to screw me over after all, even though i jumped through their rediculous hoops.

So far: inetvideo.ca sends me 3 broken games. I request a refund through email, no response. I try 5 times. I then try the live chat, the dude asks from my order id, which I supply him with, his next response is "go f*ck yourself", and he terminates the support chat. I try the phone support, which seems to be an endless loop of nothing, no matter what button you press it keeps taking you back to the main menu.

I then try the live chat again, this time the guy tells me that management saw my original rant on here, and if I remove my posts then they will give me a refund for all the items. after I agree and follow their terms, they change the deal and only reimburse me for the cheapest of the games. After arguing with the for a few more sessions, I attempt to file a claim with Buysafe, and Buysafe then informs me that there is no record of the original transaction ever taking place.

Sorry to hear that you've had issues with them.

I've made a few orders from them in the past and had only one real issue with them, which they fixed promptly. Admittedly, that was almost a year ago, so I guess their CS has fallen by the wayside.

Though, how did Paypal rule in iNetVideo's favor, if you told them that the items were destroyed in shipment and you made good faith gestures to get in contact with them?

Well, not for nothing, but I have a hard time believing a) the CSR said that and b) that PayPal ruled in their favor if that's the whole story. I think something is missing here.

I agree 100%. These bitches sent me the French version of Watchmen Complete. fuck em. I sent that bitch back and they never even refunded me.

""Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
refund.""

Yup, I've gotten that before with regards to another vendor that sent me the wrong game and wouldn't pay for the return shipping cost. PayPal isn't very helpful.

I just had this issue with something else. For the record I think everybody should know this. The paypal rep I talked to explained to me that they only have power to get shit done for you on ebay. ANYTHING outside of ebay they can't do anything for. Keep in mind that you are not safe!!!! lol
So i order 3 games from inetvideo.ca, they get here within 3 days, however they were sent in a reqular manilla envelope, and are completely crushed. I email their support, and they never respond. so now, a week later, i try their live chat. upon giving the dude my invoice number, the promptly replies with "Go f*ck yourself." and terminates the chat. I tried opening a case with paypal to get a refund, but they decided to rule in the company's favor.

BUYER BEWARE!
You should've Print Screen'd that shit...

What Bubbakja said. Visa covers everything. I don't abuse it, but I have had to get 3 or 4 charges taken off my card in the last 5-6 years and it was always done without a hassle and I got a refund on my account within a day or two. Visa is a fantastic company.
Tell me you've contacted your bank or something? If you paid via PayPal, what was your funding source?
Wow, that's some crap.

I'm not sure how Canada works, but you guys HAVE to have some form of a Consumer Protection Agency. Find yours and contact them.
