The only comparison I can think of is the Orange Box Weekend Deal, which set it around $10.

I passed on that particular deal and paid dearly for it.

You know would would be a great deal? If we could get Half Life Episode 3... or Half Life 3, even at standard retail price. Gabe needs to get off his fat ass and get to work.

They just added that - thanks for the heads-up! Now THAT'S A DEAL! Added to original post.

I'm on the fence about The Orange Box. I don't have any of the Half-Life stuff, but I got Portal (for the third time) for free and TF2 for $2.50 back in October. :whistle2:k

Orange Box for 20?

Sold. Thanks Valve. I'll go sell my PS3 copy now XD

@The poster above, if you already own Portal/TF2, just add the HL2 stuff to your cart separately. You save 3 bucks that way (and Portal/TF2 can't be gifted anyhow)

is there a half life 2 only pack?
I may have seen it once
but
if you havent already, orange box is worth the price

He can't do that, are you crazy!??!! Who would spend all day rolling around in all of that money in the Valve vault if he did that?

GOD DAMN IT, THAT'S ANOTHER THREE MONTHS. :bomb:

At this rate, Episode 3 won't be coming out until 2027.

It was fascinating to read how Value decided to use biometrics to study and improve the experience. If done right, the information can be used to make challenges more rewarding and emotional moments more captivating. We'll know for sure if these experiments pay off when Episode 3 comes out.

I can't imagine a better developer to undertake such a study.

In addition to everything the OP mentioned, they've also added Steam Cloud support, so your save games go with you to any computer you play on, which is rad.
