Steam: Left 4 Dead $23.99 USD

It was definitely worth paying full price, but sometimes these deals make my inner cheap ass curse like a drunken Scotsman :) Awesome game, awesome price
 
Did you try out the demo/free weekend? It seems like something that'd run alright if your pc can handle TF2. It scales down pretty well to work on my extremely modest and out of date pc

I didn't get to try L4D but according to the site it needs a P4 3.0 GHz with 1gb of RAM. My CPU is slightly lower and I don't have enough RAM since one of my slots is busted and there's some other issues preventing my RAM upgrade. I may just pick up L4D later when I get a new comp.

But like I said I'm glad at least TF2 runs well on my oldish PC. :)
 
You might still want to give it a shot. If it's a little too choppy to be fun all you're out is a few gigs of bandwidth :)
 
if your PC is good enough buy it its an amazing game
unfortunately since my laptop has crappy integrated graphics I have to paly it on the 360 and miss out on this deal .

Steam CD-keys are region-free (supposedly), so this site gets cheap keys from some place like Russia and re-sells them. There have been reports of Steam banning those keys (happened for the Orange Box), so buyer beware.

Personally for $4USD more I'd get it from Steam.
