Don't usually get involved with these kinds of threads but I think it's important to preserve the "cheap ass" mentality this board was created for initially.

I use G2A alot but trust Kinguin more

Some warning about G2A - I think some people have been pissed off after getting used keys so have created many different accounts

trying to resell those bad keys (Hot Potato) - either that or they are following the dodgy sellers around trying to make them look bad by hosting a lot of sales with theirs from users titled "There is no way", "Me Again", "Lose Lose I Win", etc.

Don't spend big $ on G2A and even if gambling small, considering the war taking place on that site, I really wouldn't trust any seller with less than 100 sales and 100% rating under their belts

There is a site called 'Humble Bundle'

The first Assassin's Creed is currently going for $1 USD there along with the 3 AC 2.5D platformers.

The majority of us trading here are all well aware of the bundle sites.

as it tries it's best to keep up with all currently ran bundles and sales and is updated daily.

I haven't had any issues with purchases from G2A luckily but I'm well aware of the issues that people have with them on a moral level. Totally agree with you about looking at the rating of sellers as well as not spending any amount over what you're willing to lose.

Thanks for jogging my memory about Kinguin. Haven't looked at their site in years now!

I buy from them here and there and only 1 time had and issue. The key I got and redeemed was revoked by steam roughly 1 month later. I did not pay for g2a's shield and eneded up getting refunded for the amount BUT it was a hassle dealling with them and it took many many conversations before it was done. I still think it is a good site to buy from but i think everyone going there should go with care. Be carefull on the person you purchase from (Thier sales numbers and percentage is a dead giveaway if they will be trusted or possible not). SO BE CAREFULL AND GOOD LUCK.

Also on a side note for those who know me here on CAG, I want to say that I am very happy to see this forum is still active and want to thank you all for that. I have not been so active myself lately but hope I can have the time to do so. I have met a lot of people on this forum over the years and it would be a shame if others were not able to do the same. Thanks again.

ALSO AGAIN. I was not able to post my yearly key giveaways (because I have been lame) but i will be posting some leftovers soon and hope people can enjoy and play the games. I seen others did so this past holiday season and thats awesome. So keep an eye out you CheapAssGamers and let the leech games begin!

Ironically there's less hassle however if you use UPlay for native Ubisoft games - sometimes having an Ubisoft game running through Steam can confuse things - I have an absolutely useless copy of Heroes of M&M V now because of this.

I wish Ubi would would trust Steam with it's games and I hate the way Ubi hosts and presents it's own software (ie; there's no way of telling if you have all DLC or if DLC is even available for an Ubi game when shopping UPlay). Until Ubi quits with its paranoia I tend to try to get Ubi-native games directly for UPlay.

Kinguin has been very helpful compensating me for bad keys regardless if I paid extra for guard but I suspect it is because I have ALOT of transactions through Kinguin - it's still that recognition and making exception for my continued and frequent patronage that I offer much respect to Kinguin.

G2A is pirated waters - customer service can't help (and I think there's a language barrier there as well) unless you have left G2A guard ticked. Seeing how expensive G2A guard is often times it turns out cheaper to just buy the game direct from Steam.

I got stung quite a few times on G2A but I game deal more than your average bear and a lot of those fails on G2A were mostly my fault as result of impulse purchasing before giving a good hard look at who I was buying from and the current politics centered around what I was buying.
