It is actually quite easy. Seller doesn't need access to your Steam/Uplay login information. They log into your AMD Rewards account and activate the code and choose the games you want. The buyer can then log in and link their Steam/Uplay accounts.

Its basically creating an AMD account, then letting the person who is going to redeem get into that account. You don't like to steam or anything until after the redemption are added to your account. Therefore you can change the AMD log in credentials before you even link your steam account to it as a security measure.

If you constructed your posts properly, it would be easier to understand what you are trying to say. Even if you are only selling one of the games (I've only sold the 2 bundle and then 2 individual Division 2 codes that were only for D2), you can still do it as I laid out.
Redeem the code on your AMD account, let the buyer login and activate RE2 on their Steam account. Change the login for AMD rewards once that is done. As I said, it is pretty simple. Division 2 and DMC are not available yet, so no codes or access to activating them is available on the AMD rewards account.
ah and as we all know amd doesnt want them codes to be traded
so split the 2 games on 2 buyers makes two different login locations and two different accounts to be linked to (steam)
wouldnt surprise me amd monitors that and then asks for the bill and sheet of promo code or even more
so once more:
to be safe sell both games to the same buyer, fine
sell games to two different buyers with different steam accs.....no one knows

Can we make it a requirement for people to at least list a starting price for items? I’m so sick of messaging people about a game and have them “please make me an offer”. I’ll either ignore then, or make a fair offer only for them to basically want almost MSRP. It’s such a waste of time for everyone involved.

Some people are not worth dealing with, they will be holding their inventory forever if they don't budge. Supply is not exactly low in number on most games. If we can't get basic formatting of posts (no crazy colors/huge fonts) as a requirement, we're not going to get this lol.

God these two things would be great to have. As well as some kind of default price.
I don't have any problem with people that don't post price (of course I am one of those people, I only price some of my games). If you don't like dealing with people that don't have pricing, just don't message them. A lot of people also get publicly attacked for their prices (which is against forum rules) further discouraging people from posting their (likely) unrealistic prices. If you don't like it, just don't buy it. The market will take care of itself.
You can also do your own post with the games you want to buy and how much you're willing to offer. That way if someone is willing to sell you a game at the price you want, you don't have to message anyone.

Eh, avoiding progression because “we can just ignore the problem” isn’t much of a solution to bettering the thread. Also, I’m really not sure half the games I’m interested in until I see them. As far as it working itself out, this thread alone is 4 years old and a lot of these problems are still there.
I belong to some google+ UV forums, and they require prices, and it’s always worked out perfectly with very little moderation.
You’re right though, it won’t change because CAG has almost non existent moderation, so I guess it’s pointless anyways.

Just to jump onto the current topic, I'd be all behind having prices listed. It's the only thing that makes sense to me as a buyer or a seller. Imagine walking into a grocery store, grabbing everything you need...and then having to guess what the store wants for all the items at checkout. It's a complete pain.
You should know what you want for your items. Only want trades and have too many games? OK, that's fine. But you should be able to price stuff or, at the very least, give people a price when they PM you.
I've always listed prices and have sold many games to many, many happy CAGs. They can send offers as well or ask for a bulk price in PMs. Works well for both of us IMO.

I wish they would also make it a requirement to delete things that have been sold, from old posts. I have accidentally left a few things on before, only to find out later and go back to delete them. But, searching is difficult when you have people post their stuff many times only to leave all their sold items in them and in multiple posts. Adding the word "sold" or using strike through the text still allows them to show up in search results. It would be nice if everyone had a single post. Maybe mods could go through and purge all of the older posts (I think this is in the OP)?

Yeah, that's years out of date. The intention was that you'd have a "trade list" on your profile and clicking it would take you to your post in this thread. For obvious reasons, a forum is not a good way to implement such a system, and that didn't work out. It's basically a free-for-all now.
Just in case we implement a 'must list prices' requirement for this thread, feel free to copy-paste the following to ensure compliance:

Listing prices is stupid. Prices change hundreds of times every month. It's not remotely realistic to keep up with market values. If you want to buy something, I'm going to go to G2A and determine the market value of the item at the moment. If your offer is fair or reasonably discounted I'll be happy to trade, if it's wildly lowballed I'll probably block you for wasting my time. Easy peasy.
People offering to buy something in particular, especially something that has large volume like a recent Humble bundlee, should probably mention what they are offering for their own benefit to attract offers. But people listing what items they have on hand generally will have that list up for months while the market values of those items wildly fluctuate. It's a waste of time for sellers to list prices given that situation. There simply aren't enough buyers to get your item sold fast enough for the pricing effort to make sense.
If this were like Steam Community market then you could put in buy and sell orders just like in a stock market with time periods on the ticket validity, that would be awesome. But it's not like that, it's a random forum post with the most janky format ever.

If you list prices and most of your stuff doesn’t sell, you cleary want too much and aren’t going to be pushing your catalog anyways, and are likely going to be the seller asking for offers and then declining them anyways.
If you think it’s hard work update prices, you either have too much inventory (for a reason), or you don’t want to put any effort into selling your stuff. I really think the reality of it is you can only expect so much work from a buyer these days, they have too many options and will just move on. Selling is hard work in every situation, buying shouldnt also have to be.
Personally, If I see a list and there’s no prices, I don’t even bother. Maybe im in the minority, but it seems as if people with no prices listed tend to have a lot more stock than those who do. Can’t be a coincidence.
But who really cares, it’s obviously not going to change anyone’s mind one way or another. People will and won’t post prices, it’s the way it is when (like you said) the formatting of it all is so bad.
