Steambot Chronicles 2 (Bumpy Trot 2) was announced that it was in development in Japan and the Tokyo Game Show in 2006. Nothing was said about it until 2009, when Irem told the public that they are doing everything they can to get the game out as soon as possible.

There may be no release date, or word on a western release, but seeing how Steambot Chronicles was released in the U.S. on the PSP and PS2, there's a good chance that we will see Steambot Chronicles 2 in the hopefully not too distant future. And also, let's hope Atlus publishes it.

You could slap the Atlus logo on a bag of donuts and people would still buy it and charge double for it 1 year later.

Oh Atlus
Cancelled, as of today's Famitsu. FML, etc.
fuck!!! Steambot Chronicles was one of my favorite games back on the PS2....this saddens me

You can always play shitbots battle tourney on PSP. Kill three enemies, do 20 fetch quests, repeat. So dull.

At least we'll always have the original, I guess.

Seems to be the week of game cancellations, Mega Man Universe was axed this week as well.

Sucks for SBC 2 though, I was hoping that Irem was going to go into full development after they canceled Disaster Report 4 (which I was looking forward too as well) but now this news sucks just as bad, been waiting to see this get released for a long while now.

Thing I love is Irem asked fans to keep supporting their games, however after canceling two of their bigger named titles, what's left?
