Thanks OP. Sadly I am not man enough to buy the Hello Kitty stick. Note that the Tekken Tag Tournament sticks for 360 and PS3 and also on sale - I prefer the designs on those over the SFxT ones.
 
Really on the fence. Does anyone know if the graphics can be easily switched out to something else for the Sanrio stick (love the pink/black design but not a big SF player)? I think that would convince me to drop the 100 for this thing.
 
Huge fan of this stick. I picked up the SxT stick before.
If youre on the fence about which system to pick it up for then get it for 360 and pick up a Cerberus mod: http://www.phreakmods.com/products/cerberus
No soldering and you get your stick running on 360, PS3, and PC (properly since not all usb chipsets handle the PS3 stick properly to begin with).
 
Man, when I saw the thread title I thought for sure the Street Fighter X Hello Kitty fightstick was some kind of joke like the Michael McDonald stick.
 
I wanted a backup Fightpad, but $9.30 shipping kills the savings I'd get from it. Great deal if you're going for a stick though.
 
Been thinking about picking up a stick for the PS3. I was considering getting a SF x Tekken Stick off of amazon since they have had them at $100 bucks for quite some time now and that's usually the lowest price you ever see any arcade stick that isn't at a super scarce quanity clearance price that you have a better chance getting hit by lighting than finding one. But the thought of saying you just got beat by a pink Hello Kitty fightstick does have a added advantage... then again I'm not that good to pull out a win to begin with :lol:

I have a Marvel vs Capcom one for my Xbox, and I know I could just mod it but my modding skills are nil after all these years and I'm to worried about messing it up. $50 more bucks to save the time, effort, and cut the risk is money worth it I guess.

You are in luck then, for it is on sale on Amazon for the same price. If you don't have Prime, you will need $5 filler to get free shipping. Alternatively, there is a promotion for free 2-day shipping when you use Discover Card.

Not the same company; most likely not the same parts. These are high quality Sanwa parts. PDP won't give info on their Injustice stick.

I have used the original Street Fighter IV Madcatz stick for Live Arcade games like Pacman CE DX, and it works just fine. I also used it to whore achievements from DDR games. However, it can only be used on games that do not require a second stick, as this has none. Don't expect to play Halo 4 with this.
 
Need an honest opinion since the reviews on Amazon are all over the place.

So, how durable are the newer fightpads for 360? Is it enough of an upgrade for the d-pad?

I'm mostly interested because I've never had a turbo controller before and I figured it might be handy to have, are these good for turbo is there a better slightly-more expensive controller out there?

Nothing really, the pro series is just where they've taken the sticks after TE.

I actually prefer my TE to the pro, but my TE lost a button for some reason (not a broken button, its an error with the board that other people have the same problem) so now I'm stuck with a pro.

I prefer the TE-series over the Pro series due to the TE weighing a little more, higher quality control & the Sanrio (Pro) case feels somewhat flimsy compared to the TE's. The Sanrio has a supposedly more reliable PCB (I had 8+ TE's yet no issues with any of them) but that's it.
 
After a lot of deliberation I decided to jump on this. Been wanting a stick forever and the price is about as reasonable as I can expect for a good one.

OP, you can note that the mlg fight sticks are indeed on sale too for $99.99. If i could suggest, see if amazon has the stick you want because they have some sticks for $99.99 as well for awhile now, including the MLG fightstick and the SOUL sticks, to get free shipping.
 
The MLG stick is a joke. They don't even run Street Fighter or Marvel on their circuit.

The sales end April 2nd at the end of the day. That is what Mad Cats said on twitter. They didn't specify when "end of day" was though.
