So, recently, I've been on this huge craze on creating new comic related content site/projects to keep my fellow comickers out there inspired and drawing. Honestly, there's nothing better than knowing that your cohorts are still drawin' and what's a better incentive to draw than getting free stuff.
Anyhoo, this on-going contest pertains to all my comic strip creators out there!
Enter... THE WEEKLY COMIC!
Basically, how this works is you submit a comic strip that pertains to the weekly theme/script/whatever. I pick my favorite one at the end of the weekend and you win that week's prize. The next week, the contest starts over with a new theme/script/whatever and a new prize.
The prizes range from DVD movies, CDs, video games and whatever else. All new, not used stuff from my collection (ha). It will all be shipped to you, free of charge. I'm fronting with my own cash (not very CAG, I know), but it's worth it to see some of the best talent submit their shtuff.
All artists retain the rights of their submission. I just will have the reproducing rights to reproduce it on the website on any future The Weekly Comic publications (I will NOT have rights to sell it to any other site/magazine/etc).
The first contest doesn't start until November 27th, 2006, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up! Tell your friends!
