I just can't believe it. Earlier today, I cough up $60, disc only suikoden 2, at gamestop. I even turn down a mint condition Ikuraga and bust a groove. You probably think I'm crazy, but I had to play it because I just got done with suikoden 1.
 
I need to play mine again so I can sell it. I need to buy Bust a Groove 1 and 2 but for some reason everybody has sex with the manual and case so it's hard to find mint.

There are a lot of "crazies" out there who are willing to pay $80+ for a disc only copy. Take a quick gander at Ebay. :)

Either way it just wouldn't be fun I'd think. edit: also he'd get more money just selling it on EBay while the next person looking for the game would get a sweet de...ooooh wait. Yeah go ahead and beat it then return it in 7 days. That's what I'd do......

On a side note doesn't EB games have some sort of 90day policy on used games so that they'll exchange them if they stop working?

For used games? You sure? I know for new games they do that...

Maybe it it's one of those warranty type things they try to sell you.

without the gpg, its 14 days for everything. gpg covers the game for a year. $1 for $9.99 games and under, $2 for $10 - $24.99 and $3 for $24.99+ .

I think I meant Hollywood video and their preplayed movies...because I know SOMEONE gives a free guarantee for preowned media as long as you have a receipt.
 
i did the same thing execpt mine is mint condtion. That way i can swap in it if i can find a game+ case in bad shape.

i remember seeing suikoden 1 at TRU for $7 clearance, and they had a buttload!!...i got marvel vs capcom for DC instead...at retail :(
and i remember seeing advertisments for suikoden 2 alot and a bunch of new copies at EB...*bangs head on desk*

Everyone lives with regret. Many of us having ones regarding games. In a way, that's a blessing and really kinda sad.

I paid 40 dollars for a used copy of Lunar SSS complete.. (it was complete).. and thats what its going right now.. so i don't know if many of these games were "cheap".. i guess if you wanted to pay full retail and had them mint then ok.

what is funny i remember CC begging people to buy this game for 9.99 sealed and noone wanted it.

Just Dragonball GT: Final Bout before the re-release. Sealed copies of that shit were going for well over $500 at one point.
 
That last copy of Lunar 2 that rotted in the display case at Wal-Mart. $50 it was.

One of my friends had Suikoden 2, but I think she lost it due to an irresponsible roommate. I should ask her if she still has it. I'd like to see if it is up to the hype (and ridiculous prices). So far only the Lunars are worth the insane price tag, IMO.
