==========================

I'm not talking the end of Bowser. Star, Mushroom, or Flower World. I'm talking about Crown World....Champion's F'n Road.

I absolutely loved SM3DW (keep an eye on the reviews section for my full thoughts ;) ) and I played through the game with my two friends. We got all the stars, stamps and flagpoles and unlocked this bitch.

Playing with as many people as you can is definitely recommended, as it makes the game MUCH more fun... but it also makes the levels much harder (to an extent). Yes, you're bouncing off each other's heads at the worst moments and accidentally (or "accidentally")throwing someone off the cliff, but the fact that only one player has to be alive makes up for it.

Regardless, my 2 friends and I lost LITERALLY 500 lives trying to beat this, (at least 300 of them were on the damn red/blue blocks) & we decided to quit. We got so frustrated, especially since we had made it to the final sequence 4 times. The next day, we picked it up and beat it our third try. We didnt use power ups at all, but one of us did play as Rosalina, which definitely helped.

Anyone else conquer this beast? Anyone stuck on it?

We got it all... and yes, we did go thru 500+ lives getting that last level done. Finished it with 20 seconds left! (We were at 60 when we got the 5 keys, and were worried about the Thank You but actually got that on the first try.)

We didn't finish all levels with all characters for the last 5 stamps, but everything else is done.

Really fun game... challenging, but didn't feel like the deaths were "cheap" for the most part. I would have just liked a checkpoint on that last level... lol

We only timed out once, it was the first time we got to the boost pad part. And that's exactly what we did, everything but beating every level with each character.

And I agree, rarely would I call a death cheap. I didn't think it got too hard until the end of
Bowser/Star world, but obviously CR was on another level. Definitely one of the best couch co-op games I've played in a while

This level took me around 50 or so lives to beat the first time.  The second time through took me about 10.  So...yeah, it was pretty freaking hard.

Far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best things my roommate and I have ever accomplished:

You unlock the Crown world by collecting all of the available stars, stamps, and golden flags up until that point. We did beat everything with every character anyway. Just wanted to get that 100%

Impressive, Action! That's the only thing we didn't do. Not that the game isn't good enough to warrant another playthrough with all the characters, we've just got other stuff to play haha

and sooners, you have to get 10,000 on the flagpole with at least one character on each level, get the 76 stamps from the levels/stamp houses(you'll still have a few open stamps, those are unlocked later) and get all the stars.
