I found a cart-only Super Mario RPG on SNES for $25. I'm not a huge fan of RPGs, but I loved Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. Do you guys think I should bite on this one?
it's a different ballgame than Superstar Saga. Do yourself a favor and find a rom and an emulator to try it out and see how it is, then by the cart. It is worth it in my eyes.
It depends on how badly you want to play it. If you're absolutely dying to play it immediately, $25 isn't too out of control or unreasonable. If you think it can wait a few months, you could hunt around and try to find a better deal, or it might even end up on Virtual Console for $8 eventually.
You should buy it. Worst case senario, if you dislike the game you can always ebay it to break even.
That's kinda what I was thinking. I've heard good things about it, and have wanted to try it out for a while now. I think I may go ahead and pick this one up....assuming it's still there in a few weeks when I get a chance to go back.
Yes, yes, what are you ing retarted!!! Go buy that shit right now, put it in your ing snes, lock your door, tell all your friends to piss off and enjoy.
Just got a 2nd copy today for $3 (salvation army), although I wouldve paid $25. Not a great game IMO but it def worth a try and you could def resell it for more than you paid if you dont like it. The optional boss fight is really good too.
If you owned the WII you should wait for VC version. IT cheaper
I don't have a Wii, and I probably won't be getting one until next year. I'll probably go ahead and buy it for $25. I just hope it's still there in a few weeks.
I haven't played it very much (I played it with an emulator) But SMRPG is in high demand, So you'll be able to get your $25 back. Just don't ebay it now, Because selling on ebay is awful in the summertime. Ebay it in winter, When people have cash and are wasting time looking on ebay.
SMRPG is one of my favorite games. I recently played through Mario and Luigi and it paled in comparison to SMRPG. I got tired of M & L within a few hours and finished only for completion's sake. I've played through SMRPG multiple times.
I was finally able to get back over to the store where I found SMRPG, and it was still there. Picked it up along with the GC Zelda Collector's Disc (complete and near mint). $25 for SMRPG and $15 for Zelda seemed pretty good to me. And Zelda's up for trade, by the way.
