I just got the standalone version of SSFIV:AE for the PS3 and no matter what mode I try, the VS screen is as the game will go. I even tried turning the Arcade Edition mode off and whether it's the arcade mode, training mode or online mode, the game won't get pass the vs screen. I've even installed the game on to the hard drive and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem?

from what i read you need to delete any game / install data (not save file) you may have from previous street fighter iv games. then install the new disc. hope this helps

I can confirm that deleting any previous Street Fighter data file and downloading the Super Street Fighter IV update has worked and the game is playable after that but considering that this is supposed to be a standalone version of this game and I had to do all that just to make it work, my rating will stand at one star. The whole purpose of the standalone version is to not have to deal with any downloads or have to do any tricks to get the game to play. This pretty much negates the whole reason for this release. They were better off just releasing DLC cards and having this as a DLC only option.

Bottom line, I still can't recommend this purchase.

So I got the Infamous 2 game a few days ago, was waiting to download until I could make some space since I just bought a new external and internal hard drive was about to download it but it says all activation have been used, contacted my group members to ask if any had downloaded twice by mistake and only two answered back saying they didn't and the other two have yet to respond and it has been 2-3 days already. Is there anything I can do apart from asking for a deactivation for all the accounts? These were the people in the group:

It still requires you do download stuff and if you don't download the SSFIV update and erase all previous SF data on the system, it's pretty much useless. At this point, Super Street Fighter IV should be floating around $12 - $19 and it's $15 for the AE DLC. You're going to have to download stuff anyway and it'll be cheaper to just go buy Super and the DLC online.
