So, you want a new game, but you don't feel like, well, "buying" it. Well, there are a couple of things you can do:
A. Steal it
B. Beg someone to buy it for you
C. Play something else and cry internally
D. Earn it for free
For some, the answer's pretty obvious ( Jail is awesome!) but for others, they would rather choose option D. The bigger question is: how can I earn it? Well, you have 2 options:
A. Fill in surveys
B. Use "search and win" websites instead of google.
Unlike the 1st multiple choice list, the answer to this question isn't so simple. Please allow me to assist you to fit your needs (getting free stuff with little effort!)
Here are the ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES of option A:
First, the DISADVANTAGES:
1.) You WOULDN'T normally complete surveys in your spare time
2.) Some surveys are a bit boring
3.) Some send spam email
and now the ADVANTAGES:
1.) The surveys are usually short enough. By the time you listen to 3-4 songs in your computer, you're finished
2.) You are usually making a difference: whether it's making a product better or helping out a charity. Suck it up! It'll be over before you know it!
3.) Get another email account just for spam. IMO: gmail is the easiest to set up.
Websites like Gaming Lagoon and Prize Rebel are great places to redeem free games for filling in brief surveys. If you start now, you'll have Bioshock 2 (or whatever game you want) in no time.
Now there's also option B:
The DISADVANTAGES:
1.) Amounts to "luck" (except for 'swagbucks', more on that later)
2.) What is there to search?!
3.) 1 minute to sign up? What the poop?!
and now the ADVANTAGES:
1.) Think of it as a daily instant win contest that as at least 100s that win everyday.
2.) Just type anything! Look around. Right now I see a cat and a lamp. That's 2 different chances to win! And if you don't like searching, try Winzy or Moola: you can earn chances to win by playing games. Or you can redeem your points for searching for prizes at Swagbucks (my personal favorite)
3.) Seriously, you don't have 1 minute? By signing up, you may win something doing something you would normally do. Why use google, when you can use Blingo? Blingo uses the same "google" engine + the chance to win HUGE prizes! (Did I mention it's ran by Publisher Cleaning House) Also, if you happen to shop online, Swagbucks and Moola will give you points or cash back! Oh, and NONE of these search-and-win websites will ever spam your email account.
Whether it's Blingo, Winzy, Swagbucks, or Moola if you don't fill like going out of your way to fill surveys, go ahead and use a "search-and-win" website.
Thanks for reading (or skimming, I'm sorry that it's a little on the long side) my post. Good luck earning, winning, and gaming!
