SW: Force Unleashed Wii Version?

Scrubking

CAGiversary!
When I first heard about this game and saw the stormtrooper falling from the rafters and hanging on to each other video Lucasarts said that this game was only for PS3/360 because no other systems could handle the AI, physics and other stuff. Well now I find out that it's listed for just about every platform including the DS! However not every site is confirming a Wii version.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Where are you looking for this info? All I could find on IGN and Gamespot were the ps3/360 versions of the game, and EB.com only lists the games for those platforms too.

Also, just because the game has the same name doesn't mean they are exact. Take Spiderman 3 for instance. The handhelds will get a dumbed down version (although the DS Spiderman game was the best one) if not something altogether different.

Edit: Actually a look at lucas arts website you can see its coming for the PS2, PSP, and DS. The PSP and PS2 versions are being developed by Krome Studios and the DS version by n-Space, Inc. while the next gen titles are being developed in house by lucas arts. Sounds like they will be completely different than the next gen versions, although I don't see why the Wii doesn't get the PS2 version ported over with new controls.

I believe they mentioned that a different version will be coming to the wii but it wont be that Lightsaber combat game we are all hoping for.

You guys remeber that announcement?
Isn't it already a crappy bargain game on the DS ?
You're thinking of lethal alliance, not Force Unleashed, which is coming out for the 360/PS3.

Frankly, the less of that, the better.

Yeah, they need to leave this one off the Wii and then develop a Wii-only Star Wars game. Forunately the installed base of the Wii (with no signs of it's growth slowing) makes this a good posssibility. Whether it features the light saber fighting or not, just make it tailored for the Wii, please.
