If you bought the vanilla DOTM, it includes a $10 off 3D version coupon. Works out well for me because I bought the regular edition. Giving the coupon to a friend and he's giving me the slipcover in return.

It's only useful if you're OK with double-dipping on the initial non-3D release and this soon-to-release 3D release.
 
Hope Best Buy has The Thing for a bit cheaper. I missed it in theaters. Anyone have any feedback? I love the Carpenter version.

Best Buy currently has it listed for $19.99 on their site.
 
I'm surprised it's not in the ad, but Target is also going to have the previously Wal-Mart-exclusive Blu-ray combo pack (with Lego young Han) of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - The Padawan Menace available starting on the 29th for $9.99.

If you've been looking for that one, but didn't want to pay $13 for a 22-minute show here's your chance!

EDIT: I've just noticed that Wal-Mart lowered the price to $10 recently. This must be in anticipation of the lapsing exclusivity.

The Thing is in my list of top 3 movies of all time and I loved the new one. I can see what people have against it but to me, all the references to the original made it awesome. First day purchase for me. Plus the specs of the Bluray look very good.

Is it possible to price match Best Buy's price on the Transformers 3D bundle at Target and still use the Red Card to get an additional 5% off?

If by bundle you mean the combo pack then yes.
 
The only regular items (I'm not sure about Pharmacy) the Red Card won't give you 5% off of are alcohol and Target gift cards... everything else (including every non-Target gift card) gets the discount!
 
I have a coupon from the other Transformers release, and I'm not going to buy the 3d version. If someone wants it, I'll mail it to the first person to PM me their address.

That's good to know. Just got a Red Card since I work in a mall directly across from Target. I didn't realize it worked on clearance items (my Target is remodeling and becoming a Super Target and like everything is on clearance). But I didn't know if they would give me the 5% off and the price match, I figured it would be either or like every other place when it comes to discounts. Probably should've signed up for the Red Card a lot sooner if that was the case.
