Metroid is doing that thing on BS where it says not available anywhere in this area, but I know that isnt true... I just cant get to the store I know has it to check the price.

I can also confirm these, but again BS is useless as it says no result found in searched area... yet I found multiple.

I signed up for the Red Card and got the $40 off coupon. I saw on here that you can use both the physical coupon in store and the coupon code online, essentially having two coupons. Is this accurate?

So is the 50% already taken off or is it on the scanned price? The one I saw it at the employees were saying it's already scanning at 50% off but it really isn't.

It's already taken off when you scan it in store. Some stores put a tag with the full price in the corner, and when you scan it, it rings up half that price.

From my experience, it's half off the scanned price. The fake price tags they put on are made up prices and were put on halfway through the sale. I've purchased games from different stores and had no issue getting 50% off the price scanned at the register.

That's kinda what I thought. There was a game that was tagged at $60 and scanned for $40. I asked them how that was 50% and they said they can give it to me for $30. I passed.

That sounds YMMV. Games are 50% off the original price, whether it's 19.99 or 59.99. So the games range from 9.99 to 29.99. Whatever scans in store is the 50% off price. I haven't seen anything different in any stores I've been to. The stickers were put on after the sale, showing the original MSRP, and the prices are half of that.

It means that it will be in stock but the price is out of the system. The reps will have to jump through some hoops to find the price. And it may not be at the price you were hoping for, so beware.

This has been my experience as well. N.A. is useless from everything I've seen. The register, zebra scanners and handhelds all show no price. It's supposed to have been pulled off the shelves to be salvaged. I've never been sold an N.A. at the correct clearance price. They either try to sell it at the original price, or say they can match Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, whoever.

The BEST course of action is to take the game to Guest Services and have the redshirt there use their red handheld scanner to see what the last salable price was in the system before the item went salvage. If the employee doesn’t know how to do it, kindly ask if they think a manager would be able to do so. It’s rare you’ll find a Target that (1) has unhelpful employees/managers and (2) wont allow the sale of a salvage item if it was still on the sales floor.

In my experience the Target POS tends to auto apply sales purely based on the sku, so it could double up

Assassin's Creed Origins Gold steelbooks that was merged in the system with the regular version. No plastic prison or wrapper, just two stickers holding the case closed. "Buying this is a terrible idea", I said, especially after the listed expiration date for the gold content turned out to be 10/27/2019. But everything redeemed on PSN without a hitch.

Like PUBG, it doesn't ring up on sale. So, YMMV for getting it at $20.

The CoD was 8.98 when I saw it.

I cannot believe I missed when these clearances took place... how did I miss this. I've waited forever for them to get rid of 3ds games. Fortune street was at my local Target up until just a few weeks ago. It never occurred to me they were on clearance. Smh.

You haven't missed much in terms of clearance. I know they had 30% off last week for almost all 3ds games. Now the deep discounts are starting and it's very YMMV. Someone else posted that Samus Returns and Ever Oasis were on sale but not in my area.

Also not sure if it was mentioned, but Christmas clearance has started. 30% off for food and candy, 50% off for everything else, in stores at least. Online everything seems to start at 50% off. Somebody came in and wiped out all of the holiday Pokemon cards. So, I'm a little disappointed. Probably the guy who owns the local comic book store. I always seem him in our local store buying up all the card games to sell at his place for ridiculous prices when they have sales on Yugi-Oh cards and stuff.

That's lucky. I got burned on Wildlands because I didn't get around to playing it fast enough. When I did, codes had expired by like a month and Ubi wouldn't do jack shit for me. Coincidentally, I haven't bought another Ubisoft game since other than to flip. Watching their latest game crash and burn was rather therapeutic.

The Target in Holland MI has a Bayonetta 2 for Switch still in stock and it’s at the half off price. It’s hidden in the very back of the store, so I’d bet money nobody will get it in the next week unless you read this message and are close enough.

Would’ve grabbed it if I didn’t own it. They still had a Doom on Switch in the actual 50% off bin as well.

I thought Fortune Street was on clearance years ago at Target. Now they have it again? Once games go on clearance, they usually are no longer sold after that.
