Thou trying to get the free headphones was a bit annoying, it seems nobody but the manager knew what i was talking about, and or how to do it.

On a second note, the dvd dances with wolves pictured isn't the one for sale, but if i merely questioned the 20 dollar ring up of the nice one, and said the flyer says it should be 7.50. manager was like, yup you're right so i got it for that.

Im enjoying playing my zelda game atm. :)

this is either ymmv or a lie... around here the ONLY place that has them is gamestop. I got my gba sp retro last wednesday for preordering.

damn, my storesmust all be behind than. Im just gonna wait till cc gets theres with the shirts. Anyone kno if ill get a free shirt by getting the zelda one? And is that 15 also?

CC has mario bros for 15, not zelda. and Target giving away free headphones. i got some combo pack for free with it, headphones, headphone adapter, plastic storage cases, and a carrying case.

And im a tad too big for any free shirt to fit :(

It's very YMMV. My local Target has had the Classic NES games available since wednesday. Needless to say I've been enjoying Zelda ever since.

Wal-Mart had them yesterday, regular price so I didn't buy them. Also went to Best Buy yesterday, they didn't have it, but I picked up a GGC to buy Zelda with when they do get it in.

only problem with that is you gotta wait a week

Yeah, I saw the SP & all the games at my Best Buy on Friday. Zelda was tempting at $14.99 after the gift card, but I passed.

I bought my copy of Legend of Zelda at the Green Bay Best Buy on the 2nd or 3rd. I don't remember which day.

Today I got my copy of Super Mario Bros. with the free shirt at CC. Sweet!

Yeah well too bad the people at my Circuit City are complete fuckING IDIOTS!

I went to buy a Retro SP and Super Mario Bros. as b-day presents for my gf. Before that I went to 3 other stores (EB, Target, Best Buy), all of which have ALL the retro stuff in stock. So I go to Circuit City pretty confident that I can find what I'm looking for at the best prices. Sure enough, there's nothing on the shelves. AND when I asked about them, here's how the conversation went:

Me: "Do you have the Retro SP or games?" (pointing at pictures in ad)
Idiot: "No, those don't come out until wednesday"
Me: "I've been to 3 other stores today and they all had them in, can you maybe check in back?"
Idiot: "No, you saw the black and silver one, not the retro one"

At this point I just walked away in disgust. I KNOW WHAT I SAW BITCH. I'm sorry, but I really get angry when uppity employees tell ME what I saw. Argh.

Guess I'll have to check on wednesday....

I went to my local Circuit City today. They didn't have the retro sp out yet, but they had all the classic NES games out. This may have been just my local CC (here in Dayton, OH), but all of them were 15 and the person working at the time was nice enough to give us a shirt for each of the classic NES games purchased. Guess it all depends on how nice employees are, seeing as some of you haven't had a whole lot of luck
The Circuit City I went to (NH) had the games out and I got the free t-shirt. Its a nice shirt too!
did they have various sizes for the shirts, or just one?

I, uh, just took the CC ad over to Best Buy and PM'ed the $89.99 price. If you're strapped for time, you could, uh, you know... I just had to downplay the whole "available 6/9" print sitting next to the ad picture and remind them that was the price on all GBA SP colors. Figured that was a good time to start up my Reward Zone account, too.

I went to my local Circuit City with the full intention of actually giving them my business for having a good sale (most of the time, I just take their ad to Best Buy to earn reward points).

Lo and behold, they had nothing out and I then saw the "available Wednesday" sign. Having saw these since Tuesday locally, I guess they really don't want my business.

I pricematched the games at Wal-Mart - and I even got Zelda for the $14.99. I just pointed out the games that were displayed in the ad and the clause that said free shirt with any classic gba game purchase. YMMV, of course.
