Was browsin' Target today and found a Plug N' Play type dealie from Konami. Instead of plugging into the boob tube it plugs right into your PC and you've got instant online access (if you have internet service of course) to play 5 Konami classics (Scramble, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Time Pilot, CONTRA, and Gyruss). Apparently you can download one more bonus game.

Picked it up for $5 samoleans (was $20). It's worth it for Contra alone, in my opinion.

YEA I found that too in my area and picked it up for my nephew as he loves this stuff.
 
saw one today at my target and was wondering if the online play is two-player co-op (like for contra)... or is it online just to post high scores and stuff...?

You know I just had a chance to play it today. I'm not sure if the online component allows you to play with someone else - there's just not the interface for that. I think the "online" part is just so that you can download the games from the website and perhaps for high scores - although I didn't see personalized leaderboards.

I'm wondering if you can plug in two of these bad boys. It sucks for Player 2 to have to use the keyboard.

By the way - the updated graphics on these games are very nice. Crisp and colorful. (You can select classic look or updated)

**Update: Tried to hook up two controllers but alas, you can only play 2 player simultaneous by using the keyboard for the extra player.

I can ship one to somebody for $10 (PayPal), otherwise this second unit is getting returned. Let me know...
