Tecmo Bowl Tournament

Tecmo Super Bowl Tournament on Super Bowl Sunday, held from 10AM -4pm. The registration fee is $20 and includes a brunch, and non-alcoholic beverage and a Saint Paul Saints Baseball hat. There will be prizes courtesy of Comcast and the Saints for each bracket level winner and the championship game will be played on the big screen. The winner gets a Nintendo Wii game system, a lounge section in the restaurant to hang out for the Super Bowl as well as a platter of appetizers to enjoy while watching the game. You can register through us here at the Chatterbox or you can go to www.Saintsbaseball.com/tecmo and register online. We encourage you to bring friends to cheer you on (and to heckle your competition) :D Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything I can do to help.

I prefer taking Dan Marino and dropping all the way back into my own end zone then bombing the ball all the way to the other end zone for a TD. All out passing attack FTW.

This makes a huge difference as to whether or not I am going to consider buying a plane ticket for this event. Went to the site and it looks like Tecmo Bowl but I'd still like some confirmation.

A plane ticket to play in a Tecmo Super Bowl tournament? You are awesome.

It would be silly for me to try to take credit for it, but I did live in Minneapolis from 2003 - 2005 and frequently told anyone who would listen that a Tecmo Super Bowl tournament would bring in people by the boatload. I have had several conversations from people in "my generation" who think football gaming peaked with Tecmo Super Bowl.

Having waited for a TSB tournament since College, I'm definitely going to make every effort to be there - not to mention it would be a good time to go up and see some old friends.

Aww, boo. I thought it was sheer geek-dom that would bring you here for this. Regardless, let me know if you do in fact attend, so I can buy you a beer.
