Test Out My New Site

:applause: Please go to http://www.SendItPimp.com and try to send a large file (up to 500 megs). Send it to [email protected] if you don't have another person to send it to (don't worry...that's one of my other email addys). Please post any errors received. The site isn't customized fully, yet, but it's coming along.

I need to see if PHP is going to time out on really large files. Thanx!

Since sites are supposed to 1-up each other in features, tell me.. why should I use this site over YouSendIt, which offers 700mb?

YouSendIt is terrible. Files are only up for 7 days / 25 downloads.

The site was never meant to be a source of mass downloading, though

Thank you. You said what I would have. Use Rapidshare or MegeUpload even.

Unless things have changed recently, Rapidshare limits your downloads to 50MB/hour and Megaupload is hella fucking slow.

Rapidshare has upped itsefl to 100MB per hour and I get stable speeds of 150-250. MegaUpload used to be super slow and I absolutely hated it, but as of recent, it has changed and I can get decent speeds from 75-125ish sometimes even 150.
 
There's many alternatives; I suppose they remain unknown to most.

FileUpYours, FileFront, Oxyshare, Badongo, and SendSpace are a few.
