The 3rd Birthday (Parasite Eve) gameplay footage

dv8mad, get ready to put in an order for the Japanese version with strategy guide and soundtrack for me.. a curse of collecting Parasite Eve stuff...

but man I love this series.. and the footage looks fantastic.. I can't wait!!!!!
 
Parasite Eve is such a solid series, I'll never understand the massive lull between the 2nd game and the 3rd.

However, I'd really rather this game take advantage of the PS3 so I could justify the purchase of my PS3 outside of bluray, and so I could see the game in glorious HD!

Looks great though!
 
Never played the series, but have always heard good things. Be sweet if Sony released them as PSOne classics to accommodate the release of this. But in the chance they don't, how connected do you think this'll be to previous games?

It involves Aya Brea so I'm pretty sure you'll need some knowledge of the series to appreciate it fully.
 
I agree with scorch. This is the 3rd PE game; a proper spinoff would be a game that stars a minor character from one of the first 2 games; not the main character.
 
What ever you say, but I choose to believe what the developers are telling the press over fan opinion. Not to say they've never been wrong, tho.
 
Sweet! I didn't know this was even around.

I loved PE. I also enjoyed PEII, but I only got halfway through that one (way back when).

Definitely getting this.
 
Definitely looks interesting, too bad Sony can't really compete with Nintendo in America over Handhelds.

Will keep my eye on this game, never played any of the other Parasite Eve games as well, but have heard of them being pretty good.
