Funny article. A bit on the sky-is-falling side, but in any case I'm glad I still have enough 360, PS2, and Wii games in the backlog to last me indefinitely should I decide to sit out the next generation(s).

I mostly did, until I picked up the Wii last year (more kid friendly games for my son) and I just picked up a PS3.

Add in the DS and PC, and I'm in the same boat :lol: As it stands, I'm not ready to so much as think about getting a Wii U or Vita, never mind whatever new devices come along later.

Sadly enough I agree with most of it. As long as they keep selling DS/PS3 games, I really don't need a new gaming machine for years.
