Ya friday is the only day I force myself to go to sleep early as I need to be down to open up the store an hour earlier than everyone else, so if I sleep in the store would be fucked. I normally have problems getting in by 10AM at my normal time, but having to be there by 7AM on Saturdays just kills me.
 
Hmm anyone know if there's still some EBGames Coupon Codes. I thought we used to have SAVER something or other, but I think it's dead now.
 
I just found out yesterday I play guitar left-handed. I was trying to play Guitar Hero and I couldn't figure out why all the notes were backwards.

well the first set.. it was 5-4 me on top, but it got disconnected and then when we got back into it, it was 9-17 marten on top. :cry: I didn't do too bad. I just cant get used to how slow it is. I'm used to fast paced 2d fighters.
 
Hi OTT. Extorted New Jersey completely. I'll do Hell's Kitchen tomorrow. almost done with this Godfather game, 46 hours in so far. Damn good game.
 
I thought about buying a GTA game sometime soon just so I can rampage. Who knows I might even play the game since I have never owned nor actually played one of them.
 
I reccomend GTA: Vice City. Best game of the series, IMO.

I enjoyed that game for being able to just go and fuck some shit up if you wanted to. I enjoyed Godfather for the story and depth, and would easily reccomend it over any GTA in a heartbeat.

Unrelated, I have never played a Street Fighter game. Please don't beat me up. My first one will be a GBA one I might buy from TFN.

I agree, to me, VC was the most visually appealing (and had the best soundtrack). It was a great step up from III, and SA didn't add that much more ontop of it (other than the gangs and a bigger map).

I only played through about 1/3 of SA, but nearly 100%ed VC. So much fun.

Cool. I'll look into getting Vice City. Sometimes I just have the need to get a hooker and beat her to get my money back, ya know?

As for Street Fighter, the only one I ever played was Street Fighter II(I think, as I was like 7) on SNES. I now own it on Genesis though.

Classes next year suck. I should've taken some kind of bullshit class, like ceramics or some shit like that. :lol:

Yes. when I got my PS2, Vice City was new, so I got that instead of GTAIII. when I got III, I was shocked to see Tommy didn't even talk, and it was way too dark all the time. didn't like it at all. And, like you, I nearly 100%ed Vice City, and I was hyped as hell for San Andreas. Went out to GS/EB night before launch to get mine, waited in a huge-ass line, got it, came home, and two days later tossed that shit aside. Never even got into the second city, still haven't. Just don't like it.

Vice City is the shit. I actually bought the soundtrack. Some of those radio station commercials are hilarious.

I've been off for two weeks and I've got another 2 weeks and two days. As it stands now, my schedule for next semester consists of 3 classes Monday & Wednsday, but I have like a 4 hour break between two of them, which really sucks ass. It was either that or have my first class at 9am, and I sure as hell wasnt doing that :lol:.

Vice City is only 6 bucks at GS. Maybe I'll pick it up soon tomorrow so I will have something to occupy me before DMC and PoP:WW get here next week.
 
I start RA training next Friday, 2 full weeks (weekends included) up until move-in (labor day) weekend which is basically 7am-9pm days for me.

My classes are a joke though:
- Television: Text and Context (analyzing TV shows)
- Media Audiences (figuring out how shows are marketed to certain demographics)
- TV Programming (how timeslots and advertisers are chosen for a show, basically how networks are run)
- Rhetorical Criticism (analyzing public speeches)

My classes, however, are pretty fuckin' cool. Schedule's wack this year though. We have A, B, and C days, some of which are block days, and some of which are not.

Classes:
  • Modern Physics
  • AP Environmental Science
  • AP Calculus BC
  • Differential Equations (1 semester, will be replaced by Discrete Math next semseter)
  • AP English Literature (blegh)
  • AP Chemistry
  • AP Japanese IV (^____^?)
  • one unscheduled class, which may end up being an off period for a semester, and Communications Applications in the 2nd semester
