The Amazon Payphrase Cash Back Thread

I totally forgot I did this, but a couple of months ago Amazon had this thing where if you signed up for a "payphrase" you would get back a certain amount back every time you used it sometime after the promotion ended.

Well that time has finally come, so check your e-mails!

I got my cash back from Amazon. You can have it sent back to your bank account, you can send the credits to a friend or claim it as a giftcard which will be automatically added to your account.

I got $11.90 back (I claimed it as a giftcard) as part of the promotion. What about you?

I got back $17. You don't need to get a giftcard, the next time you order from Amazon, don't use 1-click. On the payment page, there'll be a 'use my Amazon Payments balance' option, then they will charge what's left on your credit card.

Total waste of my time to sign up for this thing. Everything I wanted to buy didn't have the pay phrase option, then they went and ended the promotion early.
