The first one was one of the only baseball games since Ken Griffey on the Snes that I loved! I am stoked for this game after playing the demo!!

I never played the first The Bigs, but I downloaded the demo to check it out this morning. This is just a flat out fun game with great visuals. I can't wait to check out the finished product in a few weeks.

Man I have to disagree. I thought it sucked big time. I was actually waiting for this one because I liked the first one on the Wii, but I didn't at all enjoy the demo.

First day buy for me..

Looks like all of the improvements I was looking for out of the first game made it in... especially the season mode...

I remember me and my son would spend whole weekends playing Home Run Pinball from the first game, adding to that feature this year might make it a first day purchase for me also.

Just traded the first one in today before it lost it's value too much more. So excited for this. I am not a baseball fan by any means, but this game is like crack.

LOVED homerun pinball on the 1st one!

Enjoyed the create a guy mode as well, it's not straight up baseball like The Show but it's fun. I'll have to grab the demo next time i'm online.

I've never been much for arcade sports titles, probably since I like the full immersion factor. MLB09 The Show was the last baseball game I'll ever need (until next years).

Wow no other comments? Game is awesome IMO... the legendary catches are sometimes bs but other than that it's great

Dang, Can't wait to rent this. The demo was SO good, It's probably one of the few demo's I kept on my HD until the game was out. I played it alot more than some of my retail games. So yah, I can't wait to play it.

The Cooperstown addition to this game is a nice add on as well. I played the first one against
Brooks Robinson
(Shouldn't really be under spoiler since you can see all of the player matchups when you first unlock Cooperstown, but I'll leave it under there for people who haven't started) That first team was incredibly hard, I lost 11-4 the first game. Then I restarted and ended up winning 5-2.

I want to try this. I absolutely hated the Show because I have zero plate discipline and it's hard as hell (for me) to hit in it.

Once you get a few chances to practice hitting in this game, you should be able to get a hit pretty easily even in medium difficulty.

BTW, in the first game I came up just short of the Home Run Pinball getting 990,000. The Bigs 2 HRP is MUCH easier, I've already beaten two venues.

I just put an hour into the Vegas pinball - got up to 520k, which is good enough to be like 3,500th on the list. :(

I kept improving each time though. Hopefully I get some more time tomorrow, even with NCAA 2010 waiting to be opened.

Guess this game didn't generate a whole lot of buzz around CAG, oh well.

I've been beating the last few things in Cooperstown... to say the least trying to get the shutout is a fucking pain in the ass

I really enjoyed the demo, but I'm concerned about the depth of an arcade-style baseball game, so I'm waiting for it to hit $39.99 to pick it up. However, it sounds like it's really keeping you guys entertained, so I may reconsider waiting.

I got this from YF360G and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I never played the first one so I am not aware of the changes but its still a well made game.

Wow, when stuff like this happens...

I was playing the cooperstown shutout again (I have 365 out of 500 votes to get in, shutout is worth 75) and I had a perfect game til the 5th. I strikeout two batters then throw Jim Rice 2 perfect pitches and then a turbo perfect and he hits a fucking no doubter home run.

Then I go into the Legendary catch worth 40 votes, I get it, beat them but before I can go back to autosave, the game freezes...

fuck fuck fuck

Can anyone tell me where the Giant Brute is on the Tokyo Home Run Pinball level?

I can't find it, just got the blimp on Vegas, hope the brutes right in front of my face
