BTW, my local TRU has 7 turoks, how much is the trade in value?, I was there today but I didnt want to go into a EBGAMES with 7 turoks but if its worth like 2 dollars in trade in (there for 7 each) I may do it along with some other games I have.

I noticed that you traded in jampacks... and exhibitions, how can I get my local guy to do it? I have an exhibition and my local TRU has 2 dif jampacks...

Neither of your accusations make any sense. There was no deception involved. They offered the promotion and we brought in the products. The people who run EB didn't just fall off the turnip truck, they knew there would be a certain amount of this.

People who wanted to play these games had ample chance to buy them over the past several months at perfectly reasonable prices. The green tagging started several months ago with progessively greater discounts since then. The stuff we've been picking up and selling are the dregs. Game whose popularity was massively overestimated by their publishers, some games that should never have been developed in the first place. If you didn't want Primal at $4.50, why was it suddenly a must-have at $1.50? And were you really holding out for a good price on the Olsen Twins game?
 
My final tally worked out to about $450 worth of credit for about $120 spent. Not the greatest ratio but still a damned good price for a PSP, games, and accessories.

I also got a small number of keeper items, like a Sony Walkman cassette/radio with a strange gangster wannabe style including a chain. Two of those for $2.50 each. Good for audio book listening while walking the dog and stuff at a disposable price. A couple replacement power suppplies for N64 for 60 cents each, just in case. A bunch of PS1 starter kits with controller extension cord, controller, and memory card for $2 each.

Probably best of all, 8 MB PS2 memory expansion cards for $2 each.

Spent around $30 and got $120 credit. Although I only have $50 in credit left after my shopping spree at EB.

Punq-seems like you took advantage of that "magic" coupon :) I should have done the same but didn't want to raise suspicion so I just got what I wanted. You had some good games though like Xenosaga and the Silpheed, if they had them at my TRU I would have kept them to play. I picked it up at EB last week though so I guess it's all good.

Hmm, should I buy a 1 Gb Memory Stick for $150, or sit and wait on the leftover credit? I know the Memory Stick is overpriced, but it will come in handy... and I'm getting a little paranoid about having that much credit sitting on my old, scratched-up Edge cards. For all I know, EB might wise up and delete my credit to get back at me for spamming cheap games on them...
 
i did another method and spent absolutely nothing nada zero and recieved $202.12 store credit, dont ask me how i pulled this off and additionally with that credit i also recieved free games like GT4,MVP baseball,ridge racer(psp), and Wario Ware (DS) cost me $10 , and NBA street (PSP) cost me $20.

So basically got $375 worth of games for absolutely free!


If anyone would like to know the method I used just PM and I'll tell you. OR if enough people wana know then ill just post it.

i bought a ton of cheapo former rentals from blockbuster(used blockbuster dollars) and traded them into ebgames with a shiteload of jampack and xhibitions

so i got about $300 in ebgames credit, and spent about 100 blockbuster dollars(and also spent about 30 cents on 30 pennied out jampacks). enough for a psp and an extended warranty

I needed some room so i dumped around 90% of all my older games to ebgames in the last few months. I got 526.00 bucks credit on a Ebgames card

I would buy 2 PSP and resell them for 250 each but they are sold out everyplace

200$ Spent (this is what I hadbeen saving up for the psp)
650$ gained in credit (including a craplot of my own collection, not anything I bought on sale)

i already had every game i traded in, and everything i traded in was on my trade list for a month and a half before this, so i think people had a fair shot since i literally accrepted almost any offer on the free tru game

When I was at EB yesterday the manager told me they are not taking any PSP preorders anymore.

I don't know if it's true.

yeah, that's the range I was told. However, good 'ol Florida in action, mine rang out 30$ becaus they round them down here. Oh well, at least it's covered for another year on top of the manufacturer's' year. Good reason to say the battery doesn't work when they come out with those models that have an extended life battery pack.

:lol: Nah, gotta save something for Amored Core, Death Jr, GT4 PSP, and then Digital Devil. As far as preorders, went in yesterday to throw down a few bills on a couple of those games, and they were saying company-wide at EB they've stopped taking pre-orders. Period. No call-lists, nothing. They've pro'lly pre-orded the bejezus out of it, so much so, that when it come out, half the people who preoder are going to be duck soup.
