Hi. I signed up for this site , gave them my debit card info, and I never used their services or coupons....Whatever happened with the "we're going to renew your membership automatically unless you mail us" fiasco? I don't frequent these forums very often (so I don't know how it ended), and I need to know if I still need to cancel my debit card....

There is a multi-step process to canceling. All online. A whole lot of "Are you sure?" and "Look at these deals before you go" Should be an option in your account settings.

Actually, there's a whole thread about how to cancel and the whole fiasco over this somewhere on CAG. Just do a search and it'll tell you all you need to know.
However, the one thing I remember is that the ECA people required everyone who wanted to cancel to do so via snail mail, so many CAG's filled out a post card(that made fun of the ECA, I believe) and sent those out en masse.
