The new "Trade List"/"Wish List" at the top...

I noticed there's now a "Trade List"/"Wish List" link below the "Cheap Ass Gamer" logo where it usually shows when you have a new PM.

Is there any way to turn those off? (I admit, I haven't dug in the settings yet to check for myself :oops:)
I know I'll eventually get used to it, but I keep thinking I have a new PM because those are there.
 
Yeah, you'll get used to it. If I added a setting to make every change going forward optional, I'd have little time to actually add new features. ;)

I wasn't really asking for the option to be added (there's firefox extensions for things like that) just figured I'd ask incase it was already in there somewhere.
 
Yeah I have that feature too now. PMs show up above the CAG banner. Looks funky in my opinion but I'll guess used to it.

Hmm I see your point in this. I've received pms in the past for games I've already received but didn't take down from my wishlist. Gonna go check on that now as well as my trade list.

You got me 2! But now I'm thinking of deleting my collection/wish/trade list to get that outta there. So this may have backfired

It'll still show up, even if your lists are empty.

We'll find you, and etch your list totals at the top of your windshield. Backwards of course, so you'll see it whenever you drive anywhere. There is no escape...
 
Is there any chance of adding alphabetical sorting for the collection while in Platform view? After they're in order by platform, they're in order according to their ID number that you only see in the URL, so being able to have it ordered alphabetically would be nice and more logical.
 
This seems like a weird addition. Having PM counts or trade notifications pop up at the top makes sense, since those tell me there's something that needs my attention. But it's not like my collection or wishlist are suddenly updating without my knowledge. CAG's collection system is pretty cool, but I don't feel the need to keep tabs on it across every page of the site.

Also, like others have said, it makes me think I have a new PM every time a new pages loads.

With the recent update, is there a way to view other users' Wish Lists without initiating a trade?

It would be great to be able to find people that want the games that are collecting dust in your collection.

What I meant to ask was - is there a way to view a sort of "Wanted List" by game, the same way the current "Owner List" functions?

I can see how it may be distracting for some people, but I think it's great. It raises awareness of the CAG Marketplace, which is a good thing for everyone.

How about we move the totals to above the search bar, and PM notifications back below the logo. Presumably everyone would be happy with that?

Not if those people checking the CAG Marketplace(and people's trade lists) make up their own number they want your items for that is way off what you have listed.

That's why I prefer to still do deals through PM's, so that way if the initial offer someone shoots me is downright insulting I can just ignore it and move on.:whistle2:#

As for this thing at the top of the page and where it's going to be moved now, I too would like the option to just shut it off since it's distracting and serves no purpose for me.

Or at least have it moved to the bottom of the page where I can't see it unless I scroll all the way down.;)

Set the price and without selecting "Accept Offers - flexible on price".
 
This is a convenient feature that I appreciate but I don't think is completely necessary. We'll get used to it though :D

By the way, the new location does looks much better :D; the previous location made it look somewhat cluttered.
