Nintendo, who is the industry leader in extreme sports games, seems to be doomed.

This recent chart published in Extreme Magazines Magazine shows how Nintendo is the doom leader of the world

As you can see, Nintendo is more doomed than dcfox, Sega, and Scientology combined.

People have been researching for decades. Research shows that this doom has only come about fairly recently.

This chart shows how Nintendo's doom has sharply risen in recent times, and also shows the doom of France as a cross comparison. This chart was first published on the GameFAQs message board for Halo 3.

This is why Brak said no to making an OTT. Wtf does George Clooney, DC Fox, and a Pie Chart have to do with Nintendo?

I didn't even notice punq was missing until recently (namely when the thread came up a few hours ago). Wow. Don't blame him though.
 
I switch over to Nicktoons TV, and of course I MISSED Rocko. >.<

Speaking of which, what does Cartoon Network do, rotate shows constantly?

Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, all seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

What fiasco? I'm not seeing either movie as I have no interest.

Looks like I'm seeing Wallace and Gromit tomorrow night after I get home from my flight at the local dollar theater. :)

ditto on the punqsux thing, and im going to start reading angels and demons when my fucking library gets it in...

i put up a reservation on it in the beginning of the month, the librarian said the person before me had a due date of Dec. 12, and he still hasnt returned it :bomb:


anyway, going to Barnes and Nobels to get a book as a christmas present (I get to chose it out, i can't trust my mom with buying me a book, maybe I'll post the story if anyone's interested)
Any recommendations on what i should get? (big fan of mysteries, but I can't stand fantasy/sci-fi, especially the kind that takes itself too seriously)

I noticed that Nicktoons shows Rocko for an hour each weekday morning. Pretty cool.

I think those 3 Cartoon Network shows have been cancelled for a while, and that the repeats haven't been shown in a long time. Have they been showing those shows again?

Around 9:30 Eastern, at least last week, there was a show called Cartoon Cartoons, which is what Friday Nights used to be called when they showed all those shows (I think). I've seen Cow and Chicken (complete with I R Baboon and I Am Weasel), Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and Johnny Bravo on there.

Trust me, the Master's in Literature candidate, to be your guide in the realm of books.

Get Paul Auster's New York Trilogy. It takes the conventions of the detective novel and applies post-modern theory and existential questing. It's perhaps my all-time favorite book. I'd also recommend Music of Chance, Oracle Night, and Book of Illusions, all by Paul Auster as well.

Or you could get Kobo Abe's The Box Man or The Woman in the Dunes. The first one uses more of the detective motif, but the second is perhaps the better novel.

I got an ebook version. It is pretty interesting so far but I haven't gotten to far. I figured with all the hub-bub about it and a decent looking movie of the other one coming out I would check it out.

I really enjoy Crichton's work like Timeline, Sphere, Congo, Eaters of the Dead, Jurrasic Park but I am a big history/war type guy.
 
Speaking of Nintendo..

Had a few friends over tonight. They both brought their DS's. They came over to see the 360 and play around with it.. PD:Z and Condemned were played about 30-45 minutes, then I remembered that Mario Kart DS has multiplayer without the need for other carts.. and thus began a 2 hour Mario Kart DS session, followed by a Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Brothers (64) session. The 360's great, XBox Live is great.. but man oh man, it just can't compare to some Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers.

I think the TRu thread has become the next OTT at the rate it's going compared to this one.

Well, I picked up some good games, I've done my shopoping, on vacation for ten days, and I'm going to see the Flyers beat op on the Senators tonight.
