STF

Short for Stepover Toehold Facelock. This hold is performed on an opponent who is lying face down on the mat. A wrestler grabs one of the opponent's legs, and places the opponent's ankle between his/her thighs. The wrestler then lays on top of the opponent's back and locks his arms around the opponent's head. The wrestler then pulls back stretching the opponent's back, neck, and knee.
?

all you do is grapple and hit x
Yeah I Know. Some reason it doesn't go through. It always goes into a regular move.
And instead of renaming the F-U, why don't they just given Cena a new/better finisher since the F-U isn't really anything more than a glorified body slam?
Well, hell, Rock used a fucking elbowdrop as a finisher for years and no one complained. :)

For that matter, Mick Foley stuffed a sock into his opponent's mouth, and they called it devastating.

Hogan - Legdrop. Ron Garvin - Fists. Bradshaw - a clothesline.

I think there's only so much someone can use as finishing maneuvers. At one point, WWE had 3 people using frog splashes as their finishers. Right now, they have 2, neither of which are among the aforementioned 3.

are you doing a strong grapple? i think its lb plus grapple.. then x.

WWE releases are the most entertaining aspect of the "WWE Universe".

I think renaming the F-U with "The Throwback" is just plain stupid, the children are already used to calling the move like that. Just give Cena another freakin' finisher.

Give him another finisher and tell him to learn to apply it so he doesn't make the impact appear as gentle as a leaf falling from a tree.

I cannot support the throwback because it reminds me of a time when Cena was entertaining.....:(

I know what an STF is. I originally moved to Louisville to train at OVW.
yep. I always knew Lexington was superior to Louisville.
Born and raised in Ireland, I only reside in Louisville.

Is it true that Ireland is similar to medieval RPGs, in that it's completely acceptable to just walk into peoples' homes and talk to them?

Sure, why not...

Isn't it poisonous to be surrounded by all those dry counties?

Fun fact: In Kentucky, Bourbon County is a dry county, Christian County is not.
My favorite town name in Kentucky: Paint Lick. Seriously.
That's not nearly as funny as their Big Bone Lick State Park, which is near the town of Beaverlick.

I thought you were joking until my friend Google said otherwise which makes it exponentially funnier. Those Kentucky pioneers sure had some serious oral fixations.

just got the following txt msg..

Breaking news: Just added to the TNA Genesis PPV event tonight at 8PM ET/5PM PT: 8-man elim! Eric Young/Shark Boy/LAX vs Cute Kip/Raven/Kiyos

Well seeing that Raven has been working the indie scene as of lately it wouldn't be much of a stretch to see him return to TNA at some point. I don't know honestly how his work as of lately has been or if he is even in good shape.

I haven't watched a TNA show since I was at that Bound For Glory in Detroit a few years back, I guess I'll check this out for a while. My hopes are not high.

Thanks Guyver.
I thought you always ordered them on TV, Guyver.
i usually do watch on tv... but my sat "hookup" has been shaky lately.. no way ill drop $40-50 alone to order a ppv unless its mania or something..

Why does Hernadez mustashe remind me of a Mexican Hulk Hogan?

Why the fuck is Don West still employed by TNA cause he is sucking up the place right now?
The Guns are putting on an incredible match.

...and of course they had to ruin it with a cheap roll-up.
That is actually a decent finish because they both did their finishing moves so they had to have a winner which is how Alex Shelley has always been when wrestling on his own so I didn't mind it finishing that way. But, you had to know that Shelley was going to win because they kept saying how he never won the X Division Title before.
Awesome match that I hoped for. And LMAO at the obvious joke on Kevin Nash's past no-shows.
The best quote of the night:

Crowd, "This is Awesome."
Mike Tenay, "Damn right this is Awesome."

Now, with this dumb ass angle with Shane Sewell is worthless for the fact that most people know that Shane Sewell has trained wrestlers on the TNA roster.

Jim Cornette was in his office talking about how they havent heard from Rhino all day, i'm guessing they may throw Samoa Joe in there since he was supposed to be back for the PPV (I'd prefer if they just threw Christopher Daniels in there instead)

It just felt really anticlimactic.

That is true. But Shelley has been known throughout his career in TNA to get cheap wins plus did we really think they were going to let a match like that end with a clean win nowadays in TNA.

Is this Referee - Daivari match so long because of all the no-shows? Boring as hell.

*Edit* - Ok, how about this one...is Abyss a lot fatter than he was 2 years ago, or is it just because he wears white now? Has Foley made any jokes about his mask?
