Nobody home here. The trolls and the juvenile drama chased me away.

I thought CAG was a supportive community, but I was wrong, apparently.

You're free to let someone else man the thread now; I understand J7 has a lot of free time on his hands and has been trying to circumvent the thread from me for a few months.

I just don't have the patience for the children anymore.

Couple items i dont think on the list so far

My local TRU also had the Energizer PS3 dual controller recharger on clearance for $19.99 down from 29.99 ....didnt snag one and already kickin myself for it lol

Also Patapon and N+ for the PSP were both 9.98

Unfortunately they didnt have the Resistance CE for 29.99 :(

The Golden Compass (360) was sitting in clearance for $3 at my local TRU.

It's a really horrible game, but for $3, it may be worth a look.

I bought N+ (DS) for $5 and scanned Patapon and it was still $9.98. Basically, most (but not all) $9.98 games dropped to $5 and most $5 games dropped to $3. Also, it appears a lot of the $19.98 games fell to $9.98.

is N+ any good? my wife has the PSP and likes puzzle games mostly

I have N+ for the 360 and it's pretty fun. The homing missile weapons are pretty annoying though.

I'm pretty sure Eye of Judgment isn't sold game only. Personally, I've never seen a copy of EoJ that wasn't the bundle.

There's also a 360 version. They've been 19.98 for a little while now and they keep hanging around in most TRUs here so you can probably go back and get one. Did it ring up at that price or was that the price on the sticker?

I bought the PS3 one a while back (approx 3 weeks ago?) for the $19.99 clearance price during the 20% off sale. Total price = $16. I wish I had bought another one in hindsight.

Also wish the X360 one had been on clearance.

Picked up Blastworks, Disgaea, and Life Harvest Moon on Saturday (didn't fully read the date when these dropped) and price adjusted with no issues yesterday. Fairly good haul!
 
Somewhat confusingly, TNA Impact for the PS3 has NOT dropped to $5 like the other versions, its still $10.

Anyone pick up Mercenaries 2 for the PS3? Is that 5/10/higher?

Picked up the last Eye of Judgment at the TRU in Nanuet NY. Looked for and didn't see Battalion Wars 2 or Blast works.

I nabbed the GH Disgaea for $9.98, as I've never played the game before. I remember hearing about all the hype/accolades it received several years ago, so I'm down for checking it out at this price. Not the biggest strategy RPG fan, however.

I also sort of impulsively picked up Rogue Galaxy as well for $9.98. I remember playing the demo that Sony sent me in the mail and not being too impressed, but I'll give it another shot. It seems to me, through reading reviews and posts on here, that the general overall impression from folks on this game is not very good.

You should definitely give Rogue Galaxy another chance. I really enjoyed the game as it incorporated elements from Level 5's previous game, Dark Cloud 2, and further refined it.

Reviews have been fairly positive from what I checked on gamerankings.com as well.
 
I'll second that! Rogue Galaxy is a really great game! It's more action-oriented and so a bit different than standard RPGs and does take a bit to really get going, but it's definetely in the top 10 RPGs on the PS2 for me. Really though, I'd highly recommend just about anything by Level 5 (Dark Cloud 2 and Dragon Quest VIII are also great RPGs).
 
The energizer charge stands are still scanning 19.98 for 360. Didn't see any PS3 stands to scan.

Yeah, I agree that overall I've read more positive reviews than not, perhaps I'm just focusing on a key gripe that kept popping up: a generic-ish story. I remember trying Dark Cloud 1 (and maybe 2 as well) by means of a demo disc in the mail (man, Sony used to send those things all the time), and those seemed interesting...but pretty complex at the same time.

You know, I borrowed DQVIII from a friend, played it for about 10-15 hours, and then just sort of moved on to something else. It definitely had that old school charm, and I liked the voice acting, but it just didn't grab me for whatever reason. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime. Anyway, I digress. I'm fine with the action-oriented gameplay; it was pretty seamless from what I recall.

Thanks for your comments, guys, I'll be sure to give the game another shot sometime. For $9.98 I couldn't really pass it up, anyway.
 
Hmm, Resistence 2 CE for 30 bucks? I'll have to keep an eye open for that. Is there any way to check your local store's stock online?

Is the Chrono Trigger DS price in effect now? I am going to TRU in a bit I am hoping to find Chrono Trigger DS for $9.99.
 
This morning I found:

Last copies on both!! Didn't see any other deals, but my TRU did have about 5 copies of eye of judgment
