The OTT needs a villain. Come annoy us!
Just wondering if it's any good. Is it really as good as Minecraft? I've checked out a bunch of reviews and videos but still can't seem to figure out if I'd like it or just how it works.
I haven't played minecraft, so I can't compare them.

It plays sort of like a metroidvania but with crafting (from what I understand is much like minecraft; I just made a grappling hook, it's awesome!). There's so much shit to find and explore... and you can take your character online to play with others, or create a new randomly designed world of various size whenever you like.

It was worth the $2.50 I paid. It's probably worth the $10 it normally retails for.
Tell us about yourself, sdclippers.
The details of my life are quite inconsequential... Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize; he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament... My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon... luge lessons... In the spring, we'd make meat helmets... When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard, really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Vilmer ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's breathtaking... I suggest you try it.

I went walking around downtown earlier trying to find some pizza stand place and found a tiny shack that sells weed. Some cholos and dudes in wheelchairs. Didn't buy and I'm never going near there again.

Motherfuker Jones.. I planned on finishing up a book thatt I have to do a presentation on on Monday, but I decided to practice with Noob Saibot since he's hardly used online, and motherfuke I ended up playing 3 hours straight.

Reptile got boring. Its Saibot time bebeh.

Morning, OTT.
Sigh.
You have no one to blame but yourself.
__

Munch, sent out the Fallout3 add-ons this morning. Sorry for the delay. You should have them in 2-3 days.

Gorged on sushi last night.

Maybe I'll stay in tonight, hit the gym, then work on my research.

Work tomorrow from 8:30am-11:00pm.

:'(

Am I still the OTT whipping boy, villan?

If I am, I don't give a shit. Any publicity is good publicity, right?

"You either die the hero, or live long enough to become the villian."

:D

Sounds like overkill.

Glad I don't have those kinds of shifts. Working 6 days straight sucks enough. Especially when half of them are in workcenters you've never done before, so you just feel nervous or whatever anyways.

You're trying way too hard. So, no.
Over Terraria.
Dayumn.

I think the lesson we can take away from this is stay away from games Frosty loves and play the games he dislikes.

Sorry dude -- I almost felt that way and gave up, but I decided to at least figure out how to build a house and stuff. Next thing I knew I had a workbench/anvil/forge and kept making stuff. When I want to play something and can't be bothered with consoles, I fire it up and go looking for resources in my first world, then I save and take the stuff over to my second world.

I know FriskyTanuki was irritated by it at first too, but after he figured out the interface and such, I think he likes it now.

You mean like how you kept preaching about how Enslaved was the bee's knees and I should buy it for $20. Even after I managed to sucker someone into taking that off me, I still feel dirty for having owned it.

Bladder so full. Bathroom so far away. If only chamber pots were acceptable in a professional office environment.

You're proving my case!
I heard Enslaved had a cool story but really shitty gameplay and it was almost impossible to die, even playing on normal.
Good story, good graphics, good gameplay, great dialogue and voice acting. But yes, its very easy and I would suggest starting off on hard if you want a challenge.

I keep forgetting to play Darksiders, and I saw a trailer for Darksiders II which looked

Also, I lowered the temperature to my hot tub to 83 degrees...yes I said 83...So then why when I look at the temp it still says 102? Oh, because the heat index outside is 115.
I haven't turned on my PC in ages. I wish Terraria was on Mac, but sadly it isn't.

Can't wait to play Catherine next week!
Can Mac OSX run wine?

Steam works under wine, I have it running in Ubuntu.
The trick is booting windows to get the games installed... though I suppose if you have the steam.exe and steamapps folder from a windows install, you could still do it.

Mak, send me some of those painkillers you're high on. Then maybe I'd have enjoyed Enslaved. I can't think of a redeeming quality for that game at the moment, other than it was unbelievably short, so I didn't have to play it for too long to be able to say I played through it and it was average at its best.

If any of you guys (or Chika) want to get fat for cheap, visit Portland. Between the billion food carts, microbrewery tours, and the bread pudding french toast at the hotel, this city eats like KINGS.

I'm there.

Lol, I'll get into it eventually. I stopped playing Minecraft after like 15 minutes and then went back and got super addicted. My short-sighted gripes after ten minutes of gameplay:

Less potential for cool building projects since it is 2D. Hard to avoid enemies at night because it's like a 2D platformer and has random huge holes which kill you if you fall since they're such huge drops.

I died like 5 times. -____-;
