Foreward
First wanted to start out and thank all my fellow owners from season one for your dedication and getting games played quick; I'm looking forward to another season.

The league is comprised of 10-16 teams (2 teams max per division), we had a fantasy draft, and will use these rosters for future seasons. The league difficulty is set to All-Pro, we play 5 minute quarters with no clock run-off.

If you are interested in joining, leave a message in the thread. You must be an active member of CAG to join.

This league is built on communication and respect with all fellow owners/opponents, anything otherwise (this includes glitching, disconnecting, etc.) will not be tolerated.

Can I play? A fantasy draft might actually make my hometown Buffalo Bills bearable to play as. That is, if they're not already taken.

I think I'm going to make a move to the Giants, which would leave a spot in the NFC West open, or default it back to ubernes.

BigAT, you'll have to negotiate yourself a spot with athem85 & JStryke since they inhabit that division. Unless one of them wants a different team.

No he is not joining us for season 2, if there are questions or concerns please direct them to me via pm.

Other than that, I'll be sending pm's out to everyone so we can hopefully coordinate a draft time that works for almost if not everyone.

Ah, I was looking at the North by accident. Well, if either of them switches I'll make the move, otherwise I'll hang in the West.

Just so we are all clear, seen kicked me out of the league because I have a "negative attitude," proven by never missing a game, write ups, stats and updates I did for the league.

BigAt, it really is a shame that we cant meet again and have another great game because of seen fragile ego and his childish, "I am talking my ball and going home," approach.

Guys,in the second season, be competitive, have fun, try not to hold a 2 month fucking grudge against each other because you couldnt figure out how to stop HB dive left.

BigAT, you can have the giants. I was looking to switch teams anyways (only picked the Redskins due to joining after the draft and they to me appeared to be the best team available).

I'll take the Dolphins if I can get them. Otherwise I'll take the Steelers.

2 Things:

#1 @ Azu: Not the vikings?

#2: Due to being unemployed at present time, I'm good to draft whenever. I don't remember my question being answered though last time, but for the draft, are you able to draft from your computer or does it have to be from the xbox?

Thanks JStryke.

I think the best time for a draft would probably be a weeknight, Tuesday through Thursday. Personally, I almost always have plans on Friday and Saturday night, and there's football to be watched on Sunday/Monday. I think there's a reason Tuesday/Thursday became league nights in the other league, even if they aren't strictly adhered to.

Something like 9 PM on a Thursday. It gives people on the west coast (boooooo) time to get home from work, and it will finish before most east coasters (yay) have to go to sleep.

If they were real rosters, I'd pick them in a heartbeat.
I'll take the Buccaneers if I have to pick. They have a sweet logo.

I agree this Thursday at 9pm EST/6pm PST is a good time, hopefully everyone can check-in by tomorrow so we can make this happen.

Still waiting on SoulReaver, Commander0zero, ubernes & Static Puff to confirm their spots if they want to continue.

Azu I'm holding off on assigning you the Bucs as I'm still waiting for SoulReaver to say what he wants to do since pitfallharry mentioned he'd play as ATL.

LOL, thanks JStryke. I missed it, as I was looking at the standings and somehow thought the top division was the north.

"I'm taking the Cleveland Browns to the Super Bowl"

(I'll take the Browns)

edit: I'll be out most of Thursday, so I guess I''ll just have to pre rank. I assume the iPhone app doesn't let you draft from your phone? But you can draft from the website? Maybe I can find a way to get on that with my phone or hop on a laptop somewhere.

ubernes, I just read a quick review on the iphone app.

To be honest it sounds nearly identical to the website version. You can draft on both the iphone and web page but from my experience it may not display the full or feven correct ratings. I know when we did the first draft I tried to use the web thing only to have it show me incorrect information; who knows maybe it works now.

If I have time tonight or tomorrow, I'll mess with an online draft and report if it works.

Id like to switch from Dal to the 49ers. I took the Dal team as I came in part of the way through. Thanks if this is possible.

What about the idea of 3 teams per division and just avoiding human players in one division? I'm looking at the Browns schedule and I'm playing hardly any games vs human opponents. I would not object to leaving the AFC North and um the NFC South empty? NFC is a bit more debatable since there's a team in each division now.

I guess we'd still have 2 divisions, 1 in each league with still just 2 teams in them, but it would increase the vs human opponent games for sure.

If this is a go, I'd like to switch over to the Chicago Bears.

What!!! No Cardinals Rams game of the week in the powerhouse NFC West!!! I already had those circled on the schedule! lol

Anyway I'm sure Giants vs Rams will be just as entertaining!!!

I think that's a solid idea.

Well now you get to have a 49ers vs cardinals game of the week lol ... if I get the team that is lol

Ummmmm since the draft happens tomorrow shouldn't we kind of get the ball rolling here and get the teams switched and final say on divisions?? Id like to be prepared. :) Start the next season so we can build out fantasy list and all..... cause its less than 24 hours away...... and stuff...... just saying........ ya know?......... walking away now......... lol

I'll look at the NFL schedules and see what are the best team options to have the most games vs human opponents. I'll have a final word later tonight.

Yeah, please let's get this figured out asap. It looks like I will be able to make it tonight for 9 pm but I'd still like to have time after work to join and settle down.

So uh...is this draft happening tonight? We've got 4.5 hours till the scheduled time and the league hasn't even been set up yet for people to rank their picks. Rescheduling might be something to consider.

I've been busy with non video-game related stuff. I guess we'll just go with 2 teams per division and figure out matchups next season unless we want to wait.

Invites have been sent, please refer to the OP if you are unsure of your team.

2 spots are available (one NFC East or North team of your choosing). We are drafting tonight at 9pm EST/6pm PST.

Only 2 hours? That's nice, but also surprising. Out of curiosity, how long does each pick usually last?

I have control over the time. It can be adjusted (15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds). I was thinking having the first 5 rounds give everyone a minute then for the next 25 rounds, 45 seconds and everything else will be 30 seconds; I'm open to suggestions/comments.

I kinda like the surprise factor in not drafting, but I'll try and make it. I mean I know I can make it, I just don't know if I want to sit there for how long.
