Thinking about getting a PSP

Is it better to get a PSP during/after Black Friday or when the Vita is released?

Suggestions are appreciated.

at this point a psp is only worth it if your able to find a magical one that plays psone games that arent available on PSN, although i am not sure if the PSVita will have backwards compatibility
 
I have hard copies of PSone games, but I use my PS3 to play those. I just want a PSP to play PSP games and I'm not sure what time would have the biggest price drop.
 
black friday, christmas, or the release of psvita, if you are going to get it on black friday you should find out how big is the return period, just in case it goes cheaper during the christmas holidays, or you can wait until FEB 2012, by then the PSP will be on clearance in practically every retailer, unless it has a slow start like the 3DS did which is likely to be the case in my opinion
