Thinking of upgrading a Intel E6600 to a Q6600,Should I?

I am Thinking of upgrading an Intel E6600 to a Q6600,my mainboard is 965 Chipset based Intel and I don't/won't overclock(Bad experience) so this is the most powerful and cheapest($220) I can go, is it worth it, I like too keep this PC for 2 years and if it makes a difference in it's final year(ESP in Games) it might be worth it, Any Thoughts?
 
E6600 should still be plenty fast. You might notice a slight increase in performance but for the most part CPUs outclass video cards by a large margin.
 
not worth it, most things wont take advantage of the extra two cores, so unless you do a lot of video encoding its probably better to spend the cash on something else.
