This week in the "limited edition" series..

I considered replying when I first saw the post if that counts? I just didn't really have much to say on the topic, other then both those collectors editions kinda suck, I was hoping for something better from Jade Empire.

If they're going to be the same price, why even have a special edition of Jade Empire. Might as well include that in every copy.

I think they did this with Mech Assault 2 as well and Phantom Brave SE.

I think they don't do it for every copy because it's not cost effective if they intend to keep the same price, but they do it for advertising purposes and for people to buy more copies at $49.99.

It's more like a promotion to buy games new like artbooks and bonus DVDs.
 
Personally, I couldn't careless of the "limited edition" stuff. I wouldn't shell out 80 bucks for that grownlanser generations deluxe edition. My priority of buying a game is the price and I usually wait until price drop.
 
The DBZ CE wasn't all that great, just barely resembled what was described in the desriptions for what was in it. The game's awesome, so that makes up for it.

they did do it for phantom brave..i got it..mediocre game..gameplay kinda sux :\..i should really listen 2 the soundtrack one day

Would it be worth it for 60 with 15% off (so 51 bucks)?

Not always, but sometimes, fuzzy is better than shiny. But I wouldn't want my pizza to be either.

Okay, here's what's in the DBZ Budokai 3 CE box thing...

There's the box, and that Dragon Ball is just plastic made to look like a ball.


There's the DVD with behind the scenes stuff from the voice actors.


There's the Chibi Brolly figure, it's pretty small and doesn't really even stand up since the head's so big.


There's the manga, special trading card and a pack of cards. The manga is maybe 10 pages at most and pretty small.


...and the sneak peak of Sagas that was described is just 2 pics in the back of the manual, which I believe is also in the regular edition, too.
