Threat #1 - Nintendo Wii

^It was on 10 minutes ago. Give it a little time.
It's great that Steven put the Wii as the #1 threat to America.
I may have to make a Steven Colbert Mii now.

How long does it take to youtube? :p It was on like 5 minutes ago. I'll update the OP with a youtube link whenever it's available.

It wont be on for a number of hours yet. Maybe I will have to tune in. Wii is a threat to our lazy American way of life. Colbert playing wii boxing is something too good to miss.

Yeah it's too bad he wasn't really doing anything since they had to prerecord it and cut it to about 30 seconds

He looked rather natural using/miming use of the controller(s) for a stiff, uptight right-wing prick. Maybe his Ghyslain-y lightsaber moves prepped him for this day.

It's half of the best hour of entertainment on TV these days, folks. Appreciate greatness while it's there.

Great console, or greatest console?

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/member.php?u=20576 Jollydwarf, you do know that colbert plays D&D and was on connan and admited to playing d&d in a very pridefull way. He also knows almost everthing about lotr ect... hes a real geek. Probably a hardcore gamer too. Dont let his cold republican act fool you. He is a roleplayer and thus a acter. One of the best.

I couldent tell your view on the matter. Or what you thought he was or was not, so im just pointing that out. dont be offended if i cant cetch any nuance in your post. Im better at doing that with voices. anyway.

GO COLBERT!!!!

Colbert is actually from Charleston, SC. A number of friends have seen him around the downtown and talked with him, even if only briefly. Most say he's a little bit of an ass. But at least he's out there trying.

he lives in montclair, NJ now. my wife is an elementary school teacher there. his kid is gonna be going to school there next year, so she might get to meet him.

That was hilarious!

Do people seriously not 'get' the show? Some seem to think he's really right-wing.

Unreal.

For all those confused, I get the show. I'm 'in on the joke'. Please witness how I call it half of the best hour on television these days. I was just being deadpan, much like the man himself brilliantly is (when he's not clearly trying to fight a major-league crack-up, that is).
