Texas Instruments TI-89 Titanium Graphing Calculator

hey guys, im searching for a cheap ass TI-89 Ti for CHEAP! These things are expensive and I don't have too much money so i need help getting one of these as my math in school is getting more and more complex.

You don't need to get one. Just get better at math. In fact most upper math courses won't let you use a calculator. In fact, I don't know of any college courses that I have taken that allow it.

Math courses don't, but engineering courses do. As do most science ones.

TI calculators usually go on sale a week/month before the school year starts, not sure how else you could get one prior to the school year at a decent price. If you're at college, you might want to see if there's a buying/selling type of deal for just your campus. Mine's got one and I've seen 89s go for as little as $40.

Or you might wanna grab a used one off of eBay... back in the day, when all calc classes required was a TI-83, they were going for $100 new and $50 used. Once classes end, most people don't need them and sell them online cheap.

Every math class I ever took in college let me use a calculator, and I took pretty advanced math. Having a calculator doesn't really help at that point anyways.

I have an 89 and I can use it in my Calculus classes and my Genetics class. Usually Office Depot/Staples/Office Max would put it on sale for like $129.99 (they did that last year), but most often not lower than that in retail stores. Like ppl said, you can try get a used one off eBay, should cost you below $100.

why do you need a Titanium model?

Just get the old model at a Pawn shop or eBay cheap.

The 89 does way more then integration. For engineers and A&S majors, the 89 is truly a god send.

I got a TI-83+ for $20. Some kid got it for $15 but didn't know how to put games on it so I offered him $20.
