Can this game be registered on Nintendo's website? Or is that for Nintendo made products only?

Only games published by Nintendo can be registered... they include an insert (usually a plug for Nintendo Power) with the registration code on the back.

I know, that's why I was hoping Trauma Center would work. I guess I'll just buy a cheap gamecube game or something.

When you buy a Virtual Console game (and you have your MyNintendo account linked to your Wii), the game registers itself. So buy a few VC games
