I just realized they took off the sticky, but I'd already listed it in my complaint to the Internet Fraud Complaint Commission.

I know there are lots of you out there who lost more than I, so I encourage you to file a claim. It took about 10 minutes. If you went through ebay, just submit a request for user info, and you'll get his name, phone, city lives. If you traded, PM me, and I'll give you the info I got from ebay.

This guy should not be able to get away with doing this and still posting here as if nothing happened.
 
Hey did you get a specific address too? We probably aren't allowed to post addresses publicly? But if we can it would be cool if we sent a crap load of bs mail to his house. I mean CAG gets has a bit of activity so this will get a couple hundred views at least probably. So that can be a good hundred crap letters being sent his way telling him he is a little ass. But if they didn't give you an address or we aren't supposed to then disreguard my comment completely.

oh ya, and he got banned a couple days ago. How does banning work? Is it just the one sn that gets banned so he can just make another? Or like their IP address or something?

His name has been banned, and his IP address has been banned as well. We can't stop it if he comes in through another way, though that's about as kicked out from CAG as you can get. You all have his email address, so unless he makes a new one, he's stuck with that as an identifier.

And no, posting addresses publicly is a really bad idea, and makes the mods very unhappy.

Whatever course of action you chose to do outside of CAG is your own perogative, though don't forget that harrassment is a crime as well. Again, the matter, as far as CAG is concerned, has been handled as we can, though the mods and Cheapy aren't cops and we can't force anything to happen, except for tossing someone off of CAG.

Unless he comes in from a different IP address, he's not coming back here. That can't be controlled if his IP address changes from his ISP or he changes IP addresses, though as he didn't post for two weeks before he was banned, I think he understood it from me that he's not wanted here anymore.

Unless he changes emails as well, his email address will be an indicater of who he is.
 
I have no intention of posting his info here, but if you went through ebay, you too can get that info. I also do not condone harassment. I would pass the info along via regular email so people can file a claim with the Internet Fraud Commission, because I think this is not a case of one transaction gone awry, but instead a calculated intent to defraud a number of people. Otherwise, if something catastrophic had gone on in this guy's life, he wouldn't have shown his face here again, out of shame, which was not the case.

Thanks mods, for finally dumping him from here!
