Touchscreen with a flip phone

whats your take on this? I do like that it has the flip feature and the front piece protects the touch screen and is a touchpad
 
I prefer the tactile response given by non-touchscreen phones. I became able to accurately text without even looking at the screen/while driving. I tried that with my brother's iPhone and nearly killed myself. :oops:

Way to be a shitbrick and text while driving. I hate all of you assholes. I have to drive around with my wife, 2 year old and 10 month old in the car and you fuck-ups are driving around texting.

the clear cover is pointless unless you can use the touch screen with it down which would make the clamshell design pointless
 
Yea that clear cover seems kind of pointless. I have an LG Dare, my $3 screen protector has been protecting the phone fine for the past couple months.

I've tried a number of touch screen phones, so many of them respond like shit. I wonder what the next cell phone fad will be.

Yeah I'm not really into the touch screen for phones. I have an iPod touch, so the iPhone seems to be the only one worth it.

I think phones should go as far as having a QWERTY keyboard. That's really the only feature I look into.
