I just received in the mail a card for 20% one regularly priced item from Toys R Us. Only exclusions are diapers, formula, and video game hardware. Valid 7/9-7/29. In store only. Watch your mail!

I don't ever get things from TRU in the mail.

My favorite is when they sk for your phone number so they can mail you shit. Still doesn't make sense to me.
 
The last time they didn't exclude video game hardware. Unfortunately, they were out of Xbox 360s at the time.

It starts with the phone number, then they call you to do a short survey, and if you do it they'll usually send you a $5 coupon in the mail along with other coupons/promotions periodically. TRU is my favorite mail solicitor of all time :) Even their ads have special coupons. I just got one for $5 0ff any $25 baby purchase the other day.

I haven't gotten the aforementioned 20% off coupon yet, but I'm sure I will.
 
Hmm, I didn't get that coupon in the mail, but I did get a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon. Am going to use it hopefully today and pick up a poker table and some poker chips.

It's not a coupon, so a scan will do you no good. It's a gift card, of sorts.

My dad thought it would be funny to sign up with the phone company as Bo Paradise, so whenever you'd get a call it would say that on the caller ID. Sure enough, KB Toys sent us that stamp promotion for Bo Paradise.

TRU doesn't call you anymore for surveys. Now sometimes when you check out they give you an extra bit of reciept like Best Buy does and you call them up and if you do it you get $3 off your next purchase.

Also, as I recall, you can get on their mailing list by calling 1800TOYSRUS so you can get these fancy 20% off coupons and such.

I tried out your coupon last night and the guy at the register said that it was invalid and wouldnt ring into the system. Anyone else get this coupon to work?

They handed me a small receipt printout w/ one of my DS purchases (that I got w/ the $5 off coupon!). I hopped online, answered the survey and wrote the response code on the receipt. Worked as a $3 off coupon on my next purchase. (BTW, was a Cranium Ziggity card game. TOTALLY reccommend it!)

I don't know who made that, but if only they'd taken the time to center the "Save $100" instead of just copying over the zero...

Still not believable in the slightest, but at least it'd look more realistic. ;)

Probably didn't actually look at the coupon. Somehow I don't think he noticed that you can't save $100 of something that's only $40. Either that or he's playing a joke on us...

...maybe not
