Toys'r'us price adjustment for 3ds?

I just received a 3ds on july 21 and was wondering if toys'r'us would give me the price difference from the recent drop in price. Or if i just return it would they give me the money for the old or the new price. Basically i want that $80 lol.

Do you still have your original receipt? I bought a 3DS at launch and I can't remember for the life of me if they print with the s/n on the receipt like consoles do (I usually pay attention to these type of things). If they don't you could always buy a new one at $169.99 and return it using the receipt where you paid $249.99.

Just research TRU return policy first. I don't believe they charge restocking fees on video game hardware. If the return policy is only 14 days you'd be outside of that window. If it is 21 days I still think you're outside the window. If it is a month you would be eligible. Also make sure they don't issue store credit and will actually give you a refund back in cash or credit.

I wish I had more direct answers but I don't buy hardware from TRU; just games.

Yeah I have the original receipt still, so at least i have that going for me haha. I actually want to buy a cobalt blue 3ds, so hopefully they give me the full refund and i could just rebuy from them or from target. I just don't want them to say, "Yeah the price just dropped so we can only give you what it sells for right now"
