toys'r'us sold me a resealed game

CAGiversary!
I bought super paper Mario(Nintendo selects version) almost a month ago from toysrus and 5 days later when I decided to play the game, I noticed the game wasn't in the tipical Y fold seal. The game is in shrinkwrap and sealed with god knows what. The plastic sticks out all around the edges and the spine of the case and also has like burned residue in parts of the seal.

I immediately went to the same toysrus I got the game from, (which at the time I bought the game had like 7 copies) to exchange it for another copy and there were no copies. I have been in 4 toysrus and none of them have super paper mario eventhough it says its available on their site.

Edit: I got super paper mario on a 3 for $30 toysrus deal.

I need the help of seasoned CAGers on what to do in this situation.

co-signed. Amazon, Best-Buy, and Gamestop all have it for $20, which going by the TRU website is the same as what you paid. It'll be much less hassle to just get it somewhere else than to keep looking for a TRU that has it in stock.
Just return it and buy it somewhere else.
Sorry guys forgot to mention that I got spm on a 3 for $30 deal toysrus had at the time, the other 2 games were tekken tag tournament 2 for the wiU and metroid other m. If I return spm, I'll have to return all 3 games. Edited my first post mistake.

Then it sounds like there's not much of a choice left.  If all the TRU stores are OOS with that game, it's either return all 3 or keep the game(assuming the disc is actually in the case).  If you were going to play it anyway, why not keep that copy and play it?

Just take it a lesson learned and watch out next time you shop there.

You may want to go back to a store that shows the game as available online and ask a worker to look in the stockroom for you. When I was buying the 3 for $30 games there were two of them that were not inside the glass but the worker offered to look in the back for me and was able to find those two after a few minutes.

Could be that you grabbed a used one by mistake. TRU sells those now out on the floor displays.
The store clerk was the one that grabbed the copy out of a glass enclosure that was key locked. The used games were out in the open in the corner of that isle.

Ok thanks, I'll try that.

I guess I will keep it if I have no other choice and just hope everything is complete inside.

Problem solved. Suddenly it showed on the site that there were copies available on one of the stores that had no copies. Went after work and did the exchange.
