*check your state law here for Giftcard Expiration Policy which can override a store's general policy.

FYE gift cards i dont think they ever expire.. i had 125 bucks on a FYE card for the last 3 + years and still is active even though i havent used it in 2 years (used it last xmas and down to 75 on it)

GC store credit can survive at least up to five years, I've seen it on someone's account (even though the company says it disappears after six months).

GC return policy is 7 days unopened for cash or credit back, 90 days for defective used product. One year + 90 days if you buy the game guard.

Gift cards will vary somewhat by state, but some retailers have policies when the cards expire but usually state law overrides that.

I am pretty sure gamestop gift cards never expire.

Hilarious. According to that consumersunion site, Pennsylvania has no restrictions on expiration dates/rules/regs for gift cards and store credit.

Just fuckin' lovely. Then again, this is the same state that allows companies to come in promising sky high wages, gives those companies the friggin' world, then turns a blind eye when the companies drop the wage rates to some abysmal almost minimum wage rate and then threatens to close up when more perks aren't given to keep them here.

I wouldn't expect anything less from the idiots in my state.
