Trade In Dvd

My Local FYE stores do not accept Trade-In DVDs. What are some other options or stores where I can trade in my DVDs. (I would prefer a Store over a website)

Check to see if you have any local stores that sell used music CDs & DVDs. That's the only thing I can suggest, unless you want store credit at Gamestop.

Well, if you have a Blockbuster near you they accept trade-ins but all you would get is store credit. I don't really know of anywhere you could get cash outside of trying to sell them on here or on ebay.

well you might want to check pawn shops. Haven't used them myself, but I know some people who at least buy dvds and related stuff there.
Gamestop does give cash at certain stores, it is 20 or 30% less however
ALL GameStop/EB Stores stopped giving cash back for DVDs early this year. If they do a cash trade for anyone on DVDs, they get a corrective memo from corporate shortly afterwards. They give cash back for games, systems and accessories for 20% less than the trade-in value. For DVDs, it's store credit only.

I trade DVDs regularly with MovieStop and CD Warehouse.

MovieStop's locations are limited--they currently have between 30-40 stores. They don't have a website, but if you search for MovieStop on yellowpages.com you can find about 20 store locations. They have the best trade-in deal going currently: if you trade in any 4 DVDs (must be from major studios/distributors) you can get one of that week's new releases free... up to a $19.99 value. Or you can put that same value towards a pre-order. They offer cash-back as well, but the same promo doesn't qualify.

CD Warehouse offers cash back only, and depending on what store you go to they can be really picky about the condition of your discs. They also refuse trades if they have more than 2-3 copies of certain titles currently in stock. Check to see if they have a location near you at cdwarehouse.com

I put mine on craigslist. The post stay up for a few days then I started getting offers on them. I'm too lazy to ebay and deal with the post office, with craigslist I just had the person meet somewhere close to me and get my money.I usually get 50-75% of what I can get the dvd new. I sold my Friends DVD sets for 15 a piece and I paid 20 for them. I've even sold some things I got out of the 5.50 bin at walmart for 4-5 bucks.
