Trading in games at gamestop or ebgames

CAGiversary!
does anyone know how to find out how much a game will be bought back for at gamestop or ebgames? I want to sell them wario ware inc for GBA. They sell it preowned for 24.99 at gamestop if that helps.

Thanks a lot,

Jim

Usually the only way to find out how much you'll get is to take it in. Most won't even quote trade in prices over the phone.

Gamestop is pretty much done buying out EB, so it will probably be the same. Then again, stockholders still have to vote on it, so maybe not. This wasn't to helpful was it?

Exactly. I took in 37 games today to see how much I would get. I have seen trade in deals pretty much every time I go in for the past 6 months (to either a EB or GameStop...although I don't go in as much as I used to). I was HOPING they'd have something like "trade 2 or 3 and get an extra $10" or at least the "Trade 4+ and get an extra 40% in credit" deal. They had neither. I was told that for all 37 games I'd get about $200. I said no because with the 40% extra deal I would have received a bonus $80 and with the "Trade 3 get an extra $10" I would have received another $120. If it was an EB and they had the "Trade 2 get an extra $10" I would have received an extra $180.

So yes, don't trade in unless there's an awesome deal. My trade ins would have been anywhere from a free game or two all the way up to a free DS (or a bigass chunk off of a PSP, which was what I was going for).
