Transformers G1 Season 1 DVD set only $19.99 Pre-Order

Reminder that SDCC should have full *series* boxes available for Transformers and GI Joe. All of G1 Transformers, and all of GI Joe up until the original movie. Special SDCC packaging. Not sure on prices. I so can't wait.
 
The price is awesome but I almost want to wait for a review. I kind of wish I bought the original boxed set if only for the extras.
 
I had the entire original set, but a friend lost my Season 3 pt2/Season 4. I could have strangled that bastard. I don't loan things out anymore. I haven't been able to spot a good deal on that box since.

The original box set was sweet. The Cel art, and neat series each season progressed into the Autobot icon in full color.
 
Got my original G1 sets off ebay and amazon back in the day for cheap so i'll be sticking with that one. I like the cover much better too, I remember getting Season 3 Pt2 and Season 4 from circuit city, they had stacks of them, soon after they went rare.
 
could have swore there was a disscussion thread about this already. oh well, gonna wait for the inevitable complete series set later this year.

I would of made him replace it as well in a heart beat. Heck if he was your friend i would think that he'd make an offer to pay it back at least?
 
The Complete Series will have exclusive stuff not found on the individual releases, FYI.

actually i have that version and its dubbed in english and the quality is just as good as the other versions as well

I saw beastwars season one for sale at F.Y.E ( for your entertainment? )
I don't remember the cost but it was higher than I wanted to pay. Good show..just not worth the price asked.

Yeah, Amazon Marketplace has it for about $50, which is way too much.
 
Check your local SAMS CLUB... The one near here (in Montgomery, AL) already has it out for sale for $18.86. It also came with a "free bonus" Autobot magnet! I picked it up and canceled my amazon.com preorder....
