Transformers. May 2004. Official Site.

I should be reciving a demo of this game early next week...I'll post a little preview once i get my hands on it.
For the record, the NES Transformers was only released in Japan. You played Ultra Magnus, and yes, you could transform. That game was insanely hard, and everything about it was pretty horrible.

Also, I have the last couple of issues oF GI Joe vs Transformers myself. It was the most forced crossover ever. Ugh.
Actually, the Transformers spawned out of the GI Joe toy line, so it's actually not that forced of a crossover if you know about the history of the toys. (Yes, I am a GI Joe dork).

Yeah. I'm rather ticked of at them right now. One of the new Energon figures, which is a deluxe scaled one, was originally scaled as a mega or an ultra, but then scaled down. Why is this such a big deal? Because it's a retooling of the Snowcat vehicle from back in the GI Joe line. I would have loved to have picked up a Transformer that was big enough, and designed to work with the G.I Joe toyline.

Oh well, at least the new Valor vs Venom joe toyline will be releasing a series of GI Joe and Cobra mecha suits.
