As the title says. I thought this was an awesome buy since I want to see the movie. Other blu rays come with a 300 RIse Of An Empire ticket as well. So after you consider the ticket its either a free visit to the movies or a very cheap blu ray. Hope this helps out someone.

300 $10

Braveheart $10

Clash/Wrath of the Titans $13

Gladiator $10

Best Buy has a bundle for Troy/Gladiator on Blu-Ray which has the DC's of both movies for $10. Don't think it qualifies, though...300 is still $8 and qualifies, BTW. This promotion is also going on at Best Buy for certain movies.

How does the movie cash work if I want to buy a ticket for IMAX 3D on Fandango? Is it a promotional code I enter or something? Never used movie cash before.
I did one for the new Robocop. You punch the code in on a site, and it allows you to pick a theater before the release of the movie. After that, you have until an expliration date to go in for the movie and get up to $X off a ticket.

It gives you a certain amount of money towards the ticket (in this case $8.00) and you pay the difference if the cost of the ticket exceeds the voucher value (which it will if you elect to go to IMAX and/or 3-D).

The movie theater you select is for "promotional purposes only" and you are not required to use it there; you can use it at any eligible theater (which pretty much includes all the major chains).

Im probably in the minority here but the movies where I live cost like $6.00 on weekends. And if you are a student or have a student ID (which works past graduation!) its only $3 during the week and $4 on weekends. So this $8 voucher is only half used. But still makes for a $3 Troy blu ray for me.

I wish it was that cheap around here. It's cheaper for me to go buy a new Blu-Ray than it is to go with my wife to a theater.

It must be. I actually bought it at target for 7.50 and saw it two days ago at best buy at 4.99, I was a little upset because I already opened up the one from target.

The movies are so cheap where you live that your movie voucher is wasted. Boy, do I wish I had your problems, but, like you, I hate leaving virtual money on the table, so I go see it in a 3-D IMAX.
